As a New Zealander this is so embarrassing NZ immigration makes no sense half the time. So every single person that comes over on a visitor visa and vlogs our country should also lose their visa

It looks like they have nothing better to do. Speed didn't do much more than what a visitor would do. He makes a lot of promotion for the countries he visits. It's better to skip countries that make problems like these.

He's not even violating his visa conditions. He's not employed for any entity in New Zealand, nor is he "working".

Kia ora !! This is fascinating, we travel the world documenting our adventures and sharing positive and wholesome videos to inspire and promote countries. We're planning to fly over in a few weeks, but based on this we may be forced to change our plans (we are just waiting to here back from the NZHC). Fingers crossed !! Chris and Marianne

KZbin pays him in USD, all payments made to him goes to KZbin first (subscription/donation, etc) and KZbin sends him the money from their side. Nothing is illegal here assuming NZ doesn’t have rules pertaining to streamers from other countries streaming from NZ, if anything like that, your tourism is going to plummet because most people who travel are streamers/bloggers and of course make money from their content lol.

4:15 This is stupid. Technically speaking you're doing a freelance work. You're not directly hired by an employer in New Zealand. They just purchase a "Service" from you. Like buying a product overseas. I thought New Zealand is a 1st world country? Why your laws are so regressive? lol When Speed went to South East Asia he didn't have any issues like this.
