The body of Christ is the true Church , not the apostate corrupted Catholic church Christ Church is his body made up of saved believers who have been baptized into his body the Church by the Holy spirit . 1 Cor. 12 : 12- 13 ; it is a spiritual Church , Christ is the head Eph. 1 :22 - 23 ; and it is Holy and with out spot or blemish . Eph. 5 : 27 ; I will say one thing the Catholic Church is a universal organization with the help of the Roman Emperor who brought in pagans and there practices and when the true Church is raptured or taken up to be with the Lord in the air the universal catholic church will head up the universal world Church during the tribulation and will be destroyed by the antichrist Rev. 17 . and 18 . God says come out of her and be not partakers of her sins . Rev. 18 : 4 ; Are you saved by faith believing on the Lord Jesus Christ . there is no other way .

@christocentric The Church which is the body of Christ is a spiritual Church all saved believers are members of the Church we have been baptized in to the body by the spirit 1 Cor. 12 : 13 . So all saved believers are the Church . we serve Christ and worship God in local Churches that preach the Gospel of Christ for salvation of sinners and when Christ call the Church which is his body up to meet him in the air we will be in that number .

Well, there was baptism with St. John the Baptist.... the Eucharist/communion Matthew 26:26 when Jesus talks about "take this bread and eat of it for it is my body " plus he says "if you do not eat my flesh and drink my blood you do not have life within you." John 6:54 .....only the Catholic church has ordained priests that can do what Jesus did with the bread and wine turning it into body and blood. John 20:23 also mentions CONFESSION---- notice Jesus only breathes on and says this to the disciples who go on to evangelize the world and are all martyred(killed) as priests who spread the Catholic faith. "Who sins ye forgive are forgiven them". He doesn't talk to a woman, he doesn't talks to non disciples... The holy orders and annointing of the sick when he has the disciples perform exorcisms, and healings........ Matrimony is marriage, and it's mentioned many times in the bible that marriage is between a man and a woman, if a man lays with another man he is an abomination (so no homosexuality) Confirmation (look it up on google from Catholic answers or whatever) Ephesians 4:30 You literally can google this stuff and find it.

It never said in the Bible that Jesus started the catholic church if that was the case why do Mary get so much worship when Christ rebuked the lady the tried to give honor to his mother. Luke 11:27-28. Going to the church does not save you. Christ saves, it's not about protestant, catholic, or other denominations, it's all about being reconciled to christ and living for him. The church is just a building. If Christ started the catholic church mariology would not be in doctrine because he said that I am the way the truth and the life not mary, she is no where in the equation. Jesus said that no come to the Father but by me not mary then him. It sounds like he's mad. There is only one gospel and that is the gospel of Jesus Christ and Mary is not glorified nor any of the saints. The encyclopedia is not the word of God stop looking at outside sources and go to the source. Galatians 1:7-8. It's not about religion but relationship, so the point that need to be That without relationship it's all just religion and religion does not save the soul or transform a person.but rather is a system of laws and rituals practices with the absence of relationship because focus is on traditions therefore it has no substance because God looks at the heart not tradition or religion. In the Bible there is no mention of the pope or their line. I don't serve history but the savior! Once there was three popes at the same time and each of them began rebuking each other, pope innocent in 1198 demanded that everyone caught with a Bible would be stoned to death by the church military, yet the pope is thought to be the substitute for christ, christ never set out to stone anyone and that does not represent christ. Jesus wants you to read the word so that does not represent christ, he said he that is without sin cast the first stone. So I not bashing the catholic church but majority of the doctrine is not in the Bible. Again it's not about catholic,baptist,methodist,Baptist,, the others it's about your relationship with christ. I don't serve the catholic church,Baptist, pentecostal, methodist, or any other church only Christ. The commandment about bowing down to graven images was removed and replace with the commandment about coveting. That's adding and taking away from the word. I only call the Lord my father Matthew 23:9. Follow the word not religion.
