I don't usually comment, but I feel that I have to for this type of video. Bonnie and Joel, please know that you owe no one an explanation. You are like everyone else just wanting to provide for their families, and I respect you both greatly. I appreciate you two working hard through KZbin. You share your lives with us, and I can see that it means so much to both of you. Thank you for all that you do and for the explanation even though you didn't have to. I hope people are respectful to you and can recognize the hard work that y'all do. Love you guys so much, and I look up to you as role models! ❤️

Everything done by Rea! I personally don't mind SOME intros. Like a little family photo and channel name is cute. It's when people go and get a full on 30 second over the top TV show opening sequence that looks like it's on MTV in back in 2001(I'm sure you can think of a few) that bothers me. It has a place, but KZbin isn't it!

I am so excited for you guys. Joel gets to be home and help raise his kids and THAT is a blessing in itself. KZbin definitely is a huge commitment and until you do it, you just will have no idea what goes into it. As you said, you have no need to explain yourselves. As much as we the viewers "give" you the opportunity - you put the work into getting to where you are. People would not continue to watch if you weren't working your butt off to make great content. 💛

Totally agreed. Lets keep on counting our blessings and not taking the gift called "Present" for granted. :) Like ThePfledPfam said, there's no need for explanations. We all who enjoy your videos are appreciated for your commitment and unimaginable sacrifices you make. Miss the old days where Bonnie was less censored, she didn't know what a brand deal was and it was something she did a couple of days a week on the side. My opinion. I understand the appeal of family members starting their own channels but it's a bit out of control. Every vlogger family seems to have their extended family vlogging now. I always wonder about the impact on the kids in the long term and whether this is a viable career for all these families for the next 30 years. Even Casey Neistat's video today was brand heavy and that used to be a rarity. Need a break from KZbin I think!

You guys are the salt of the Earth! Happy for your decision and for your family. You will be so thankful that you made this decision while your kids are young. Before having our first child, my wife and I decided that we would do whatever it takes to have me work from home so that I could be around my kids as much as possible. After being self-employed for 10 years and doing KZbin for 3, it has been the best decision I've ever made (besides marrying my wife and having babies 😉 etc). Wishing you guys the very the best!!!

Anyone who watches your vlog for any amount of time knows that Joel is such a hard worker. He's always fixing something for someone, building something, lending tools or a hand, loading things on his trailer, helping make mail boxes, remodeling your home, and making your families lives so amazing. You're right, you don't have to justify or explain yourself to anyone. I love watching your family grow and change. Staying humble is so hard sometimes and your family does it beautifully.
@alykleidon75038 жыл бұрын
You owe no one an explanation for how you choose to manage your home, finances and employment. I so appreciate the openness and honesty though. I watch your vlogs because I see a happy, functional and funny family that focuses their priorities on the important things in life. My fiance and I didn't really have the best examples for strong families so I took to vloggers to help me understand other ways to parent, nurture and partner; you guys are almost always first on my list. Going into my future marriage and eventual parenthood, I feel blessed that, even thousands of miles away, I can connect with someone who is figuring it out and setting an example and sharing it with the world. Thank you for the hard work and dedication you both have put into this channel; it's helping some of us in more ways than you know.

The comments you mentioned were the ones that truly upset me greatly. It was no one else's business what was going on with you all as a family. I was honoured & felt blessed to have you all on my little phone, & feel part of all of your little family - I felt almost uncomfortable with others becoming so passive aggressive in comments about Joel's job. I'm so, so glad you said you don't want it to change either of you. That is categorically one thing I really don't ever want to see happen within your family, because your true - sometimes brutal honesty, is what draws me in time & time again. The tears, the hysterical laughter, the very normal couple arguments - having off days as a woman (god, we're far too hard on ourselves but yes - we can at least all come together & relate about it, pick each other up when we're feeling bloody crap!), sharing the moments with your precious babies, the ups & downs & how you deal with it. That rawness isn't as common as you think & that's why we all love both of you. Those tears are very real because you feel so passionately about what you're saying! I have no doubt you won't change! You're both of strong principles & characters. I will always support both of you for as long as you will allow 😘👌🏻 Lots of love & best wishes to both of you! X

Bonnie, I walked into my bathroom after watching this with tears in my eyes and I had hives on my neck, too, that I didn't even realize just from relating to you and sympathizing with your heart. Just wanted to say that it's been awesome watching such amazing things happen to your family! Our most important work here on earth is for Jesus, and as long as you're maintaining that part of your lives, then I think it's incredible that you get to now call KZbin your career and live a blessed life working together in your home! We each have our own callings! Your children will be able to look back and remember so many precious memories with you through this, and we as viewers are better people because of what you share. The love that radiates in your hearts and home fills our homes. I'm so happy for you all!! Throw your hater blockers on and keep doing YOU! 😎✨

Bonnie and Joel, I love the integrity you both have. I've been watching the comments over the past months questioning about whether Joel was working or not and it was getting to the point of becoming both intrusive and demanding. Clearly, there were some who felt like you owed us an explanation. You owe us nothing of the kind! It's those of us who watch you who owe you the respect of your privacy that you deserve! It's totally up to you how much you want to share with us and what areas of your life you want to keep private and the viewers need to respect that. There was a comment after yesterday's vlog that was what you, Bonnie, described as going beyond what was acceptable. It was very demanding in wanting to know the truth about whether or not Joel was working or not. Reading that really angered me to the point of almost writing a response but I then realized that would only fuel the fire. You and Joel took care of it very nicely and I hope this will be an end the incessant question of does Joel work outside of the home. I'm very happy for the both of you and the success you're having with KZbin! It's because of your honesty and integrity that you do have the following of those of us who tune in every day. I know that's why I'm here! I love both of you very much!

You show the good and the bad and during it you throw your head back and laugh and sometimes you cry and sometimes you get irritated and you just are a joy to watch. You both take pride in your home and your family and not everyone has that or was shown that and it is comforting and most of all encouraging and that is MY WHY! Also...congrats on your success...I know you will make it a point to give back and to keep family first. No on knows what the future holds but we all know WHO holds the future. LOVE YOUR GUTS!! 😘

As someone who has spent the last 10 years working swing shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts. I get it. It's a hard life and very humbling. I am so grateful for the people that make our communities thrive. You never really understand how many people work crazy hours and spend time away from their families until you do it yourself. I also want to say I am grateful for you and your family. Sometimes life is a lot and it is comforting to be able to watch happy families and positive people. Truly, I thank you!

I love watching your vlogs because you're so relatable! Joel reminds me a lot of my husband, he's a hard worker and makes sure we are taken care of. He works long hours and sometimes doesn't get a day off during the week and I'm so thankful that he is so selfless. Seeing Joel be able to stay home makes me so happy for you! I know that's such a great blessing for you and the kids and Joel deserves it :)

Bonnie and Joel, you put such light in this world. Don't you dare, for one minute, validate the notion that what you do isn't "respectable". My husband and I are both teachers and we count our lucky stars that we have been blessed to spend our summers with our boys. Believe it or not we catch grief for that - we try to pay them no mind.... That can be tricky business but stand strong in what you know is right. You bless my life and I thank you for it!

More power to you guys. There is no greater gift than being with your children an family and you've found a way to do it. No one lays on their death bed saying, "Gee I wish I would've spent less time with my family and more time at work."

You are so wonderful, Bonnie and Joel. You constantly show how genuine you are and are still realistic and grateful for what KZbin has done and what it could end up being in the future. I'm so thankful to you for bringing joy to my home this past year. You deserve the recognition and achievement of being able to do this full time. Cheers and happy holidays!

I have been vlogging for Over 4 years. And I have the highest respect for people who do this for a living. It is hard dang work! Unless you have made a video, and done it for awhile you don't have a real appreciation for how much work it really is. Congrats on living the dream. You deserve it :)

Okay, I am sitting here bawling watching you bawl your eyes out. You do not ever have to justify yourselves for us as viewers. Yes, we watch you but you aren't a TV show, this is reality. This is YOUR guys' life. Your choices. Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind!!! We love you for who all of you are, don't you ever change. Please, don't ever change! ❤😘 I am SO happy for you as a family.

You don't owe anybody, at anytime, any explanation about what you do. You invite us into your home, and I've enjoyed it; but you're right, its solely on your terms. You two couldn't be anything but what you are, down to earth, real people. Out of a lot of channels that I watch, you are one of a very few who has NOT allowed this to go to your heads, from those who I've watched from the "beginnings" of their channels, and that's awesome. :)

I am inspired by your whole outlook in this situation. When you said you are telling your friends what has happened and you don't care what those who are judging you are going to say. It really inspires me too live my life for me and not care what those around me think which is very hard for me. When I watch your videos it gives me a little more strength in myself so that I can start living my life the way I want and not the way others' want me to. Thank you for that confidence!

Good for you guys! It takes a lot of courage to do what you are doing. My husband and I started our own business back in 2014 and it takes a crazy amount of work but you guys got this! I hope Joel's side businesses go well. It's so fun to be your own boss and make your own schedule. Good luck you two!

I think its amazing that Joel gets to stay home and you guys get to work together. Such an amazing opportunity that you should take with no regrets and no guilt. Family is everything and you have worked your tails off to turn this channel into something that can support your family and allow you to have the entire family together. It's so special and I am so happy for you. You 100% deserve this!

I'm so happy for you all! Having 2 parents in the home is wonderful, but having both available more to help with the kids and the house work is a huge blessing! I work from home as well. There is never a day that I don't work. I drove from California to Maryland and Florida over the summer and I worked every day of my trip. One thing I do want to say, is don't be afraid of change. If you feel like there is something you want to upgrade and you can afford it go for it! This is YOUR life. Live it however you want to!
