yes! all of their pets are rescues. that's how it's supposed to work. if cricket wasn't the right fit for noem then she should've put him up for adoption. i have a feeling it isn't about what he did or didn't do, though. she enjoyed causing him harm. commander is a lovely dog. he had a few instances of playful biting, he never injured anyone. the biden's were mature and removed the dog when it caused distress. the white house is a public house, naturally that's a ton of different people with varying levels of comfort around animals and it's also very exciting for a dog to constantly be meeting new people. he was still well trained. walked off lead, waited patiently while biden was working, had more good interactions than bad. and all of the other biden pets are also well behaved.

Ghost writer. Most politicians, famous people, big money types get them. I'm friends with a ghost writer/author and he loves his job. He gets to do all the fun nerdy stuff, research, writing, interviews cool people....but never has to deal with the stress of the public eye. He works mainly with historical autobiographies and political autobiographies.
