Did you know that Sam Raimi placed Xena in the MCU? When he directed Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness he injected a large statue of Xena. The scene where the fight takes place between Wanda and the Illuminati you can see it clearly. Scarlet Witch uses the Xena statue to crush Monica Rambeau/Captain Marvel. That means Xena: Warrior Princess is canon to the MCU.

As a fan of fantasy and sci fi, Lucy has been front in center in so many shows I've loved over the years. Xena, BSG, Spartacus - she's just brilliant in everything. And she's not "Lucy in a show" - she's so good at embodying the roles she plays, other than the roles embodying her.

As a patriotic Brit, I wish we could claim her as one of ours! But she's a New Zealander, like Sam Neill, Peter Jackson and Karl Urban. Subtly different accent from any British ones.
