Did Lukie Games Rip Me OFF?

Sorry you had a bad experience. For what it's worth, I have been shopping with Lukie games for about 5 years now and have only ever had 2 games I had issues with. They had great customer service for me at least.

I never had any issues with Lukie Games as they always were good the past 3 years for game discs. Their hardware stuff like controllers and systems are things to avoid though.

Over the last 3 years, I have probably bought 40-50 games from them. Only ever had an issue with 2 games. I ordered complete, and they came game and case. I didn't even bother to call customer service because 3 other times I've ordered game and case, and they sent a compete copy. They get my approval.

I normally have decent luck with Lukie games. Estarland probably has the best cleanup and service.

Sucks about disc rot existing. I didn't know about it until I started watching on KZbin and hearing from different gamers.

Great pickups, man. I hope you didn't return those games, because it most likely isn't disc rot. A pinhole-sized area in the label isn't exactly uncommon with Saturn games. It's simply a manufacturing defect from depositing the label onto the disc; the data is complete and uncorrupted (assuming there aren't scratches). So, those holes that you shine a light through are fine, but if you were to inspect the underside of the disc and notice discoloration around the hole, then that's a concern. You can play these games many times over many years, and they will be perfectly okay, and you'll notice that the holes won't get bigger, unlike actual disc rot. Cheers!

They are better than many other options usually, but there will always be some human error here and there which is to be expected. Overall Lukie games has been great for the majority of items I've ordered from them.

Wow!! I didnt know you spent over $20.00 on games!! Ok!!! Sometimes you do dig into the wallet! Lol!! I dont think they ripped you off...but definitely, not paying attention to detail. And definitely not doing their due diligence on providing the best service. Question, your disclaimer says "disc rot" MAY make it difficult to read. Do you test the games before you send them back? Do you try to actually play them? Or are you strictly thinking as a reseller?

😂HA I try to spend some MONEY but yea I tested a lot of game that had disc rot. It sometimes won’t load, or o had a game it got to a certain part and it didn’t load. Also who PLAYS VIDEO GAMES in 2024??? It’s ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!! 💰

It’s probably that the games were tested and still work and they didn’t see disc rot, most people check for games working and not for the rot. The concern is real , I just don’t think Lukie games purposely sold you games with disc rot
