Nice. I added fpv. Also kept the light for orientation purposes. Its a great flyer line of sight. I removed the rubber at the bottom front and placed the light pointing downwards. So that way it won't disturb the fpv camera facing forward. Also looks cool. Thanks for the video. Bless day. Pow. 👊💯

In going to get my Insta360 camera up again on my Blue bugs 3. I made a video with the 360 on the Bugs 3 a year ago and haven't flown it since. The 360 footage looked really cool. I thought about attaching it to the Bugs 3 Pro but wondering how it would fly with it attached. I think it tends to fly funky when anything more than an action cam is attached.

The Bugs3 (Black) was my first brushless drone. After flying nothing but "toy grade" drones up until that point it was a BEAST! I recall having been very intimidated buy the sound of it when I first fired it up. I've still got it, as well as the blue Drocom and their little brother, the Bugs3 Mini. Great bunch of fliers! I heard the SJRC F11 also. And heard a rumor that there will be a Pro version that has a 2.7k camera but I can't find it anywhere. Maybe MJX is waiting because there seem to be a few glitches with the SJRC that need to be ironed out. Some toilet bowling issues and Android app crashes when trying to use waypoints.

if there will be a pro version with a better camera it will hopefully have electronic stabilisation, makes no sense otherwise. And it would have to be cheaper than a Hubsan Zino also.

Just a foot note to my previous comments - I have just bought two more brand new Bugs 2 for silly stupid money on line, even if I don’t fly them ( which I will and mod) I have 8 motors, 8 ESCs, boards,GPS units bodies boards cameras ,bodies etc etc for spares, a bargain!!

After several seconds the motors disarm. I let mine freefal 2-3 seconds occasionally.

GAproductions - No, the motors continue to spin. You have to hold the throttle down for over 15 seconds (or more) to disarm. Normal disarming is done by long pressing the red button. thanks for watching bro!!!

I'm with you in this wondering. I got my Bugs 3 for $48, and saw it as low as $38, and now it's back up over a hundred. It could just be in demand. Bebop 2 is up again too. Great drones, and we KZbinrs have let the secret out. This video was fun on too many levels to list. Thanks for the Bugs Love. HUGE Congrats on finding that Bugs 4 news!! There's not much that can be done about that except for trying a different mobile device. The Bugs Wifi FPV is not very reliable and the Bugs Go App, once disconnected, usually won't reconnect until I land mine! I suggest using the built-in camera for recording video and adding a 5.8ghz AIO camera for FPV. Great Bugs 3 vid. I was not a Bugs 3 fan at first because of the looks, but after actually flying the Drocon version , it’s my favorite because of the responsiveness and power. I fly with the stock transmitter, but also have bound it to the Jumper, Bugs 8, and Bugs 5W. I can’t recall if the Bugs controllers have low volt alarms. Also, I’ve hesitated to fly FPV on the Bugs, but you’re given me confidence to try it.

When learning to fly FPV, it's always best to start with a drone that you're familiar with, so for me, flying the B3 FPV is very easy! And yes, all of the Bugs controllers have low voltage alarms. thanks for watching and your feedback!!!

DJ if you look closely at the SJRC F11 GPS drone it is the same as the upcoming BUG 4W right down to the design and transmitter. The F11 has been out for a few months now and seems to be a fairly decent foldable brushless bird from a couple videos ive seen so far on it.

Be interesting to install a split mini and a powerful vtx into the canopy that way you could transfer it between birds. Looks like they have a better Transmitter on the bugs4 maybe? Think that was always the missing link. Jumper is the way to go I would think. Need to play with the Jumper timer for my brushed whoops without osd.

What up DJSF? Another great B3 vid. Just flew one of my B3's yesterday! Here in Detroit, its been rainy cold but that wont stop The B3! It's still and always will be a really tough,fast and cool quad. Big mistake if mjx has discontinued what has made their product brand popular? I own 4,one is heavily moded,2 are in storage,and 1 on standby. Luv flying my B3's in all its guises. The original looks cool,performs great,what more for the money can you ask for? I think you need to inform your portfolio manager to invest in some MJX stock! POW! Good thing you've got the room to store all those backups! Looks like Spring is in your area. We are still 'pre-Spring' here, with temps going up/down like a yo-yo. This past Sunday, the U.S. Coast Guard had to rescue 150 'ice fishermen' off an ice flow on Lake Erie (West side of the lake) when it broke off from the shore mass and started blowing North to Canada. They used helicopters & air boats to rescue them, but quite a bit of fishing gear was abandoned to 'Davy Jones'. Right now I'm watching a tree service cutting down & trimming some of those 150+ ft. trees across the street from my house. I bet its costing a fortune. I had a tree guy come and trim one of my neighbor's trees which was preventing me from rotating my TV (and Ham radio) antenna. He also trimmed my dwarf apple trees, so that was $400 just for a trim job. Pretty sure its about $2000+ to cut down one of those big ones, so I got off easy. Oh well, it will give me better access to fly around my neighborhood, once the weather gets better. Thanks for the update. Cheers!

Sounds expensive doesn't it? But then heavy equipment, expertise and insurance don't come cheap. You can get by without any of them but then I always remember a trip to town lots of years ago. On the way in I saw that the local council was having the tall Bunya Pines along one of the residential streets taken down before the huge cones fell & killed someone. A couple of trucks, a chainsaw crew and a large mobile crane. On the way out there was the crane laying on its side but the boom (& the tree) had, by pure serendipity, fallen straight down the line of the street. I had to be elsewhere so I never got to know what had actually gone wrong. Or if the crane operator's wife ever got the brown stains out! ;-)

It wouldn't surprise me if MJX stopped producing the Bugs 3 with it being a few years old now. That Bugs 4W looks really interesting. I see you have a lot of Bugs 3's. They are great! I have the blue Drocon rebranded Bugs 3, the Bugs 3 Pro and the Bugs 3 Mini. I had the Bugs 2C but I gifted that to my pal Phil. I had a red Bugs 3 but while testing is lost power on a throttle punch and fell to the ground and snapped 2 arms. I have a black frame to transfer the guts into. I had started unsoldering the ESC's from the FC board and realized I was doing it wrong and got fed up and stopped and forgot about it. Maybe I'll try to transfer it over on a rainy day. I didn't feel like messing with resoldering all those wires!!

Thanks for doing the research Soul Force and creating this public service announcement, we all need to go out and get a new B3 and store it away. I only have my original B3 red edition, and it still flies like a champ. We talked about the BUGS 3 on Drone Therapy last month. I told them about watching your video when you first got it, you flew it at night in front of your house. And you said order it now, before they come out with advanced model with altitude hold and so on. People were messaging me, saying you got to watch this video. And I tool your advice and ordered it that night, you even had a Tomtop coupon for it, I got it for $84. Those were the days my friend.

Hi DJ have you tried the 3000mah batteries that fit the bugs 3 perfectly? I have them bought them on eBay (for those who want to buy them search bugs 3 3000mah batteries) for around $26, they are great had them for over a year and the best thing is you get about a 25 minute flight time depending on how aggressive you fly the bird. No, I haven't tried any 3000mAh batteries yet, but I've heard about the ones on Ebay. SOUL FORCE QUADS It was actually the Eachine ex2mini which is the same thing at banggoodregular price $59.99. The 45% off coupon code f7ed97 made the price $32.99. I think there was a limit of 100 orders so doesn’t work now. However in the description there is a 20% off coupon 2b6adc which makes the price $47.99. I believe the code works with no camera, camera and possibly camera plus goggles version. Here’s my quick review. Quality built. Flies well. Good power, good punchouts, fast. Good range. HOWEVER, the first 30% of the throttle is dead and yaw is a bit fast. I don’t recommend the camera version because the FOV is quite narrow (70 degrees) making it useless for FPV. Still I think it’s a steal under $50.00 $50 is what we spent for a Syma x5c a few years ago.

Still love my Bugs 3, something about her! You're correct on that headlight , it's a life saver at night and sometimes even in the day time. I was late to the game but I think I managed to get an original model. I haven't modded her in any way, apart from giving her a graffiti paint job! ... oh and repairing the front arm !! I agree, it’s a complete mystery as to where MJX are heading, they seemed to have stalled and licensed out their product to any any body willing to sell it with the appropriate logo, it’s called badge engineering, JJRC, Drocon, Potensic, Holy Stone , Force, to name a few.The MJX site have also ditched the Bugs 2, Bugs 3h, Bugs 6 and Mini Bugs. Last year we all saw sneak pictures of the Bugs 4, after a wait it turned up as a SJRC F 11- what’s that all about? The biggest competitor 18 months ago were Hubsan with the 501 range (I have 3 along with my 8 Bugs), they progressed with the controversially reviewed Zino ( they are still tinkering and reducing the price!). MJX had all the nuts and bolts in place, proven software, reliability , exceptional value for money and loyal supporters and customers like me and you.All they had to do was stick a 2axis gamble with EIS on to proven product and the jobs a good ‘un, but no, sit back and let Xiaomi steal the thunder with the A3. The bar has been reset. ( The A3 is fantastic by the way) l rest my case!! Richard. Yorkshire.England.

Good old bugs, one of the best ever made. Btw, you get telemetry for signal and battery on jumper with deviationtx or opentx with a multimodule. Just have to setup your alarm levels.

@@DJSOULFORCE it is going pretty good so far.. I've kept it on low speed mostly staying indoors (weather has been sucking in Ohio) I have managed to break one of the prop guards but no biggy. I lost a couple of bugs 3 within a 6 month time frame into the SF bay area wetlands. I flew out too far and then lost "link" and couldn't pull it back. Great drone, very fast and responsive, but need care not to go out too far. I'm on the lookout for
