The problem with the internet is its ability to spread propaganda. The irony is that it's also the quickest way to dispel it. It's a double-edged blade the Military Industrial Complex wasn't prepared for. Think about it. Who's really benefitting from the current state of things? Certainly none of the people involved in the invasion of Ukraine or the War on Palestine.

This is absolutely intentional. The only three reporters who happened to have mysterious gap in their programming schedule happen to be the only three reporters who offer an honest and measurable take on this subject? That's no coincidence. This is just how MSM operates now. And it's f*cking despicable.

And it's a shame, actually. I checked the videos on MSNBC youtube channel, it seems to me, that the ones who are showing more the Palestinian perspective or a more empathetic with what's going on in Gaza, are having the most views and the majority of the comments are appreciating the balanced reporting.

Well of course it is. It's a giant corporation and it provides news for the purpose of profits and not out of journalistic integrity. I argue that no corporate media outlet can practice ethical journalism as a matter of course. It's the reason that I get most of my news from independent news sources that employ actual journalism and not news-infotainment practices.

He does, it’s just aired every day on peacock. He should be in a prime time slot on msnbc every day imo, but even with the slot on peacock it is still absolutely one of the best daily news shows (and the only reason I even have peacock to begin with). Then he’s on msnbc every Sunday evening for an hour, and hosts his daily show on peacock every Monday-Thursday. Mehdi Hasan is truly on another level and I’m glad he’s getting more into the mainstream media, even if it’s not as much as I think he deserves. Some progress is happening, which is definitely a good thing in this country

Remember how pre-Bush's Iraq war, the NYT was completely biased pro-war (Judith Miller' s lies about WMD on page 1 multiple times; Thomas Friedman with some very optimistic pro-war editorials that had a real impact). TV news also was bad, and the US newspapers censored 90% of the horrific photos from the war which I saw because I was out of the country. This is a very worrisome trend and will absolutely backfire, against Israel, against the US, and including against Ukraine, whereas Putin and Iran and Hamas are all cheering.

Any chance it was related to Jonathan Greenblatt, head of the ADL going on MSNBC and looking into the camera and scolding the network about their coverage and basically implying who he was talking about? All three reporters have been featured as experts on many of the evening shows this past week on MSNBC. And they all spoke openly and freely, as far as I can tell, in the sense that they did not unilaterally defend Israel but instead emphasized Israel’s role in the lead up to the terrorist attack by Hamas. They have indeed presented an alternative perspective on this conflict and added much needed nuance to the conversation.

This bullying behavior is getting old and sadly can only lead to an increase in aggression towards that community. One only hopes that we do not end up in a 1930s Europe type environment

I trust their reporting. I will be alarmed if they vanish from MSNBC coverage. Hassan in particular is an excellent interviewer and analyst, he's logical, he goes from fact to fact.

When the President does it, it's not a crime. When America or her allies do it, they're not war crimes. Similar sounding attitudes don't you think? How many dead civilians did we leave in the middle east over the last three decades? How quickly did we hear about the first civilian casualties and war crimes perpetrated by russia?

Strangely enough I've looked for Mehdi's show all week but couldn't find it. He didn't have his shows both Sundays either. Ali was reporting from Israel for a few days and that stopped. But i haven't seen Aymun at all. I mean how scared can one be to put anchors on air? No wonder we rely on you.

Amman has been on all week, featured as an expert, which he is, and given a lot of time to discuss the conflict, including his perspective on Israel’s role in fueling hatred towards Palestinians.

after 911 in the UK Mehdi Hassan was super aggressive all over the UK media for a long time in defending Muslims from accusations of extremism. He is not someone who will pull any punches on this topic. I can't see US audiences and media companies coping with his strong invective on this topic.

I'm an avid MSNBC watcher, usually from 4 pm to 7 pm, but have refused to watch them since the attack because of their totally biased reporting in support of Israel. I am disgusted by them. BTW, I'm pretty sure that Velshi is of Indian descent.
