All we need to ask is: Who preceded you in this interpretation? We know you have a high opinion of yourself, but please humble yourself and show respect for those who came before you. If you truly understood what you are interpreting, even if your life were threatened, you would likely refuse to interpret it. As they say, ignorance is bliss. Fear, love, and hope are the proper relationship to have with Allah the Almighty, and it will benefit us greatly to harbor these three emotions in our hearts. Otherwise, we might destroy ourselves without realizing it. What sky would protect me and what ground would support me if I alter the book of Allah with my tongue or my hand?

Thank you for discussing this very important subject using the sources in the Qur'an! The implication of the traditionalist's claim of Muhammad's repeated trips and negotiations with God to reduce the number of prayers is that God was wrong! Apparently, God didn't factor in the hardship this would create for mankind when he decreed 50 daily prayers (I have also heard that the number was 100!) and Muhammad had to talk Him down to 5 daily prayers instead. This is laughable. And speaking of time, if we assume that it takes 10-20 minutes to complete the traditionalist's prayer ritual, then 50 prayers would take from 500-1000 minutes to complete. That's more than 8-16 hours daily just for prayers. So, Muslims would pretty much spend all day praying, leaving no time for doing what people need to do during their waking hours. And that's what the traditionalist claims God originally wanted Muslims to do?! Just spend all the time praying, allowing no time to live, love, learn, farm, raise a family, build, travel, explore, engage socially, etc.? Patently absurd. Hey people, God gave us a brain. Please use it to figure stuff out. The Qur'an has to make sense, be consistent and reasonable, and be accessible to all; otherwise, people would reject God's guidance. And God knows best.
@優さん-n7m2 ай бұрын
God was going to assign 5 prayers as compulsory anyway. It is impractical to have 50 compulsory prayers. Muhammad meeting Moses and then going back to God and the number being reduced, again and again, until the final number of 5 is basically showing the importance of Moses in the sight of God and the tradition of Islam. God was going to give 5 prayers anyway. Moses was just an excuse here. The whole point of this is to show how important Moses is in Islam. There is one more thing. Two persons, a Muslim and a Jew, quarreled. The Muslim said, "By Him Who gave Muhammad superiority over all the people! The Jew said, "By Him Who gave Moses superiority over all the people!" At that the Muslim raised his hand and slapped the Jew on the face. The Jew went to the Prophet and informed him of what had happened between him and the Muslim. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent for the Muslim and asked him about it. The Muslim informed him of the event. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not give me superiority over Moses, for on the Day of Resurrection all the people will fall unconscious and I will be one of them, but I will. be the first to gain consciousness, and will see Moses standing and holding the side of the Throne (of Allah). I will not know whether (Moses) has also fallen unconscious and got up before me, or Allah has exempted him from that stroke." Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 2411

@優さん-n7m2 ай бұрын
Angel Gabriel brought revelation to all prophets, that includes Abraham and all Israelite prophets including Moses and Jesus. Muhammad met Gabriel many times throughout his life. Gabriel also appeared in human form: Narrated Abu Huraira: One day while the Prophet (ﷺ ['God bless him and grant him salvation']) was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, "What is faith?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, 'Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection." Then he further asked, "What is Islam?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly, to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan." Then he further asked, "What is Ihsan (perfection)?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you." Then he further asked, "When will the Hour be established?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents. 1. When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master. 2. When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings. And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah. The Prophet (ﷺ) then recited: "Knowledge of the Hour [of Resurrection] belongs to God; it is He who sends down the relieving rain and He who knows what is hidden in the womb. No soul knows what it will reap tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die; it is God who is all knowing and all aware." (Surah Luqman 31:34) Then that man (Gabriel) left and the Prophet (ﷺ) asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "That was Gabriel (A) who came to teach the people their religion." Abu 'Abdullah said: He (the Prophet) considered all that as a part of faith. - Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Beliefs (Book 2), Ḥadīth 43[3]

ALLAH tells us to ponder upon the Verses, not adopt preconceived notions.
@HooriAhmed7752 ай бұрын
@@truthseeker545 To ponder does not mean to create something unrelated to the text. Rather, it means that the Quran interprets itself, and it is also interpreted by the Prophet, the Prophet's companions, and scholars. After considering all of this with the correct intentions, you can build upon it, act according to it, and marvel at it in accordance with the text. And if you are lucky, Allah might allow you to discover new meanings that were hidden, which will benefit you and the ummah. Tajweed is not "added". Arabic and Hebrew letters are basically consonants. But the native speaker knows how to read it. For important texts like Qur'an and legal texts, the vowels could be made explicit. The vowels must be made explicit for non-native speakers so they can read it correctly. How would you read this: hsn , Is it hasana, hasuna, hasina, husina, haasaanu, husunu e.t.c? When we look at a sentence in Arabic there are only few correct possiblities that are actual valid Arabic words so the native speaker can usually read it correctly. hz ktby : this is haza kitabee (this is my book). The native speaker knows this but the non-native does not. Atleast learn some basics of semitic languages written using non-latin scripts before you talk about them.
