True... Most of these producers, actors, directors and writers have also been brought up and are a part of the problematic society we are living in. They must have the same mindset as the majority of the people. Hence, they can't see what's wrong with the content they're making. A women getting a slap is not a big deal in all the dramas being broadcast. It's just a meagre part of her life which she's suppose to forget and forgive because her crime is always bigger. Second, it's hard to understand why men who cheat their wives are portrayed as poor humans where as the other woman is considered to be the villain. I think that as far as why the person is forced to sympathise more with Ulfat, is because primarily Shafaq is at fault. She knew that Ulfat has lived a life where money was very important to her and she pried on that weakness. So essentially Shafaq was in the position of power, not Ulfat, which means an added responsibility.

We are feeling bad for ulfat because shafaq had taken advantage of someone's situation....ulfat being a silly one didnt understand the consequence of her actions but shafaq knowingly stepped into ulfat's life , offered her money, knowing the fact that ulfat isnt happy with her life. Its like someone desperate goes for a job and the employer says you do this n that then i will give you a job..so employer is basically taking an advantage of a needy person..same situation applies to ulfat as well..thats why we are feeling bad for her..

She went down through memory lane with her Dad.. Would have been nice to see her have some regret about what she did to her sister. I also agree "Afsi" should not have died, h e should've stayed alive...Take care of his child. That kid is going to grow up be sooo messed up. :| Also the sister should not have committed suicide... She should have had a backbone, took care of her kid and kicked "Asfi" to the crib the same way she did to her..sister... He should of begged her back..And not take him back. .Thend

Nisha's burning after Meenu's burning was shown to probably justify the title of Jalan. PS was happy that the end for Asfandyar was also sad for a change.👍🏼👍🏼

The conclusion of Jalan was satisfying, it would have been unacceptable it they killed off Nisha as she did not deserve to go that easily.
