Are you a rope drop people? Why or why not?

We are open to closer for sure! We just recently went to Disney and tried to get my sleep heads up early for rope drop per your advice, but we were only mildly successful. We picked one of the statically lowest attendance week, but they were setting near record attendance! We live in Florida and have gone to Disney A LOT.Other than Christmas Day, I've never seen attendance that high.It was absolutely insane! But getting there early really did help us get on rides that were a must ride with a shorter wait.

Crowd levels now are just insane and unpredictable! I have no idea when some of the normal vacation/crowd trends will return.
