I know! I miss the entire vibe that the 80s feel style brought to the game. I when people started to figure out who coach was, what year the game was set, where each RRO was located. And the stupid part is NOT ONLY is this lore forgotten, but there's parts that are STILL UNSOLVED. For Example.. we all now know of Coach. BUT WHO IS "CHEEZY".. there is another character, LIKE COACH, named CHEEZY and NO one talks about it because i bet its overshadowed by the bullshit cashgrab they force us into.

You do great stuff man. I'm 100% on board. What pisses me off the most is it's so obvious that it only exists because of the forbidden one, and their way of saying "we don't steal ideas LOOK, we have secret characters... OoOoOOh" They could of easily stuck with the 80s vibe and brought new lore about Rec Room itself. Good Example.. There's another character, like Coach, like Ranger Roy, named "Cheezy". Who is this character? Worse yet, he's got a voice actor as well, LIKE COACH, AND ITS THE SAME GUY WHOS PLAYS "LAMAR" in GTA5! WHY DOES NO ONE TALK ABOUT THIS

I definitely like the invasion events, but like you said, further apart. Rec Con worked great, since it helps get creators, builders and clubs ect. to get noticed. I feel there are improvements that could be done to further this event but getting free items and having a sort of 'scavenger hunt' definitely makes it more interesting. I loved Rec Rocks, and feel that deserves some praise as well, since again, they made it where creators/builders could show off their stuff all while a fun event was taking place. I did expect a bit more out of Rectober but I do understand their need for income. At the very least, they are taking action against low effort rooms and though it's not perfect, it is a step in the right direction. As long as their events continue to include the creator/builder community, I am all for it.

9:15 is so cathartic because all the S lore stuff honestly does really feel like some outside third party suddenly came into Rec Room and started trying to pivot the games direction and storyline to something so absolutely completely unrelated that its shocking to compare it to the games actual origins when it launched. But doing it in such a way that even now 2 years later there's no "payoff" or anything, just expensive shop items. Even the league of heroes event felt like it had a "payoff" and just felt like this fun little thing.

Honestly i only took part in the league of heros and the invasion (1) event the rest of them i either didnt take part in at all or hardly took part. I think it would be cool if they did some cool events with sponsored leagues because it brings attention to them and if they have them set up and if they sold ugc items the creators should be able to set the price to more of a community level rather than a money grabbing level.

I think that Rec Room is going trough that stage i call "DOOMSDAY" and makes the game worse by deleting good content that people liked and adding bad content that people dislike, deleting the weekly rewards was a big mistake and the social panel we once had in our Dorms where you could see videos and see the featured rooms, now it's a useless panel that functions the same way as the watch menu, this stage will probably make the number of players drop drastically to a point that it will be almost consireded "dead". Or maybe the game will start to look similar to Minecraft adding more garbage and updates and players just adapt and learn to play with those updates. Will the game die at some point? Yes, Will the future be better? I highly doubt about that.

One 5 star for when you join rec room, one 5 star for lvl 25 (halfway). Then one 5 star for lvl 50. Also add 200 tokens for when you join rec room. Then 700 tokens when you get to lvl 12

Hear me out, I think rec room is going to do something to mix together invasion and S. Like the glitch and elsewhere items are green and purple (just like invasion 1 and 2) and supposedly they need some “portal technology” (just like invasion) that they need to work and the reactive material (just like invasion with having more items get more things) and the same overpriced items (just like invasion) that they sell in both events. It’s gonna be something like “oh S invades the science department in search for answers” and then sell some “glitched science exo arms” for 25,000 tokens. Who knows though, maybe they will mix together invasion 1 and 2 and then it might be really good. But I doubt that.

tbh, I've really just lost hope for rec room. none of it is fun anymore, even as a 2022 player. the prices are going higher than snoop dogg the lore is just awful and a lame excuse for money and in general, it's just becoming more and more of a cash grab. I've stuck with one type of avatar style for as long as I can remember, because I just couldn't afford anything. they've only really updated maker pen stuff. and while I am a builder, it's all just circuits, the one thing I suck at. but the worst thing of all has to be RRS. all of the games I see have just lost creativity because rec room studio can just make things easier for devs. especially the "HOW FAR CAN YOU" games.
