@@760HorsePower Do you seriously believe that? Here's the facts: Russia thought that plane was a drone because air traffic control couldn't get them to communicate on radio. They fired a missile at the plane. There was no other aircraft.

Russia allegedly also refused to let the airplane land in Russia (despite declaring an emergency) in hopes that the plane would crash in the Caspian Sea, getting rid of the evidence. The fact the pilots were able to keep the plane in the air long enough to get over the Sea and crash with roughly a 40% survival rate is incredible. Russia will also likely not take blame and will instead say it wasn't their fault because they were protecting themselves against drones. Or they'll say there was a mistake with their air defense system, which of course, isn't their fault.

"Allegedly" is the key word here. And what kind of evidence are we talking about here? They wanted to fly from Azerbaijan to Grozny (Russian city) through Makhachkala (Russian city too), but it was very cloudy there, so instead of waiting they decided to fly through Kazakhstan, which is faaar away from the Caucasus.

No the reason they were refused in several places is because the areas they wanted to go through were under attack by drones... so they told them to go else were it is thought they hit into drones that caused the damage.

It was hit by a surface-to-air missle. In the photo of the tail end of the aircraft, you can see the pepper holes. All of them pushed inwards. This was caused by the proximity explosion of the missle.

Sadly, it happens. The U.S. has shot down a couple passenger planes (an Aeroflot flight in 1953 over North Korea, and an Iranian airliner shot down in 1988) , and recently downed it's own F/A-18. Azerbaijan itself shot down an Armenian plane in 1992. Russia does seem to have more than its fair share, though.

The plane was redirected away from the areas of the airports because there were drone attacks near the airports it is thought by some that they hit into some of these drones that caused the damage. Also no Russia doesnt seem to have its fair share they blamed Russia last year for a downed plane that happened several years ago in Ukriane it was unsolved so they then just blamed Russia.

After watching the crash video i think this is what happened. The tail was struck with shrapnel from an AA missile which damaged the hydraulics enough to render the rudder and elevators inoperable, they were then left to control the plane through engine thrust, roll, and wing trim. As the plane increases in speed, trim must be reduced or it goes up and possibly stalls, when it comes out of that near stall like it does in the crash video, trim must be increased to avoid a nose dive into the ground. Then as they descend into this nose dive trim must be brought down again as the speed is increasing and as such also the upward pitch, in order to avoid again going into another near stall. They can then help control excessive trim by rolling the plane, turning the upwards pitch caused by the trim into a turn, which is less deadly. The skillful pilot/pilots balanced this difficult state as they crossed the Caspian sea, in order to reach land. After reaching Kazakhstan land they tried to force a landing which would be a delicate balance of engine thrust, wing trim, and roll, in an attempt to try to impact the ground as flat as possible. I believe this is why they rolled the plane in the end (if you watch the crash video), they had too much trim, which would cause a too violent pitch up too close to the ground, leaving them in a situation where a second attempt would be impossible. And so instead the pilot/pilots rolled the plane to reduce pitch, ensuring their own death in order to force the plane to land as level as they could bring it.

The Russian air defence system "mistakenly" shut down a plane, and afterward, they didn’t allow it to land at any nearby airports. Instead, they directed the flight to Kazakhstan. Why did they do this? Because they hoped the plane would crash into the sea, erasing all evidence. However, they underestimated the professionalism of the Azerbaijani pilots.

Basically Ukraine was conducting an aerial raid on Grozny (don't ask me why, there doesn't seem to be anything strategically important there for them to target) and the plane just ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time and probably got picked up by Russian air defense who couldn't tell it apart from Ukrainian drones/repurposed aircrafts. That seems to be the most likely scenario at least, where everything falls into place.

If you really want to know about a strategically important part that Ukraine targeted, then it was Ahmad battalion facilities. Ukrainians do it very clever - they make Kadyrov demand air defense forces from putin, and the latter can’t supply them with ones, as all of them are protecting his troops, ammo depots or Kremlin. That creates tension between kadyrov and putin.

@TheASSedoTV Russia itself turned Chechnya to rubble before, and it's already better protected than most regions by the air defenses in Crimea and Rostov. Kadyrov will just use attacks to rally more support. Ukraine also wastes weapons on other pointless targets like Kazan, so if there's any strategy other than getting headlines it's probably to make Russia trigger-happy with air defense, not that it'll change anything

Air defence systems are automated, they will lock on and fire it’s a machine it don’t care who’s on the plane, it was designed to do ONE JOB. What happened was Ukraine launched a drone strike on Chechnya at the same time this plane was flying over Chechnya, either it was accidentally hit by Russia air defence missiles like what happened to the US Navy's F-18 the other day, or it was hit by the Ukrainian drones which has happened a few times in the current war but were all military aircraft up until now potentially.

Russians were trying to cover it up by telling the plane pilots to land in Kazakhstan (of all places!) in hopes that the plane won’t be able to cross over the Caspian see and fall burying all the evidence.
