The editing of this show is really starting to make me mad. They finally stop evil editing Jiyoon finally, but then switch to Jungeun who is trying to help her group progress with the whole 12 HOURS they were given before the first check... It's so gross. And Sujung... I agree about Sujung. It’s like people only expect and want every one of these idols to act the same way, have the same mannerisms, and make the same decisions instead of be individual people. Even if you wouldn’t have done what Sujung did or don’t like it, even if it’s not the same thing somebody else did, that shouldn’t be the deciding factor that she’s a bad person or that every good thing she’s done or talent she has should be discarded. All throughout our lives, EVERYONE says things and makes decisions that are imperfect, selfish, not the most angelic path, but that’s what makes us different from each other, and that’s because we’re human and we learn and grow and figure ourselves out as we go along. We all act on our feelings differently. Seeing people just turn on her for that when all of us are far from perfect is just hypocritical to me. She is a teenager in a high stress situation where losing the competition means losing a chance that she may never get ever again to be successful in the industry talking about someone who has always ALWAYS won over her even though she's less skilled in more areas than one. I hated the convo about not telling/ helping Mai. A little messed up. Ngl I believe it's the same as Part 1. They got individually graded, commented, coached, voted on by the audience online. At the end of the survival show, they're gonna be a group, not soloists. So if they're talking about each others back now, imagine how it'll be. It can also be bc they're choosing who they want and dont want to debut with too. "A certain someone might not be in it anyways" so they're waiting it out yknow? Lastly, I'm on the coaches side on Yuju's case. She's good but she can be better. This is Part 2 of the show! Like the coaches said, work up a sweat lol. Perform like you mean it! Understand the songs and adapt to it. She's just tries to look chic for every stage I've seen imo.

My top picks (based on talent): Jeemin Jungeun Sarang Saebi Sujung Yuju Gyuri/Mai (if there is a 7th member) Honorable mentions: I love Gyuri, Mai, and Fuko. Gyuri has potential as a vocalist and has good stage presence. Mai would make a good vocalist and visual, I also liked that even though she wanted to preform whistle she let Yuju preform it instead and still did great in Panorama despite the notes not fitting her vocal range. I'll say this, even though a lot of you will hate me........reality shows require editing. The way I see it, they are just exaggerating each event by focusing too much on it and priming it. However, that is precisely how media works. At least they're not asking the participants to exaggerate and fake as some American reality shows do. That is the only way of creating drama and suspense; believe it or not, that's why people watch such shows. If they just released plain-ass episodes with no character development arcs or disagreements, no one would watch it. You can't always blame editors or companies. TBH, if I was an editor and they said, "Hey, no one is watching this show; in two hours' worth of the episode, there is nothing to hold the audience," I would also edit the shit out of the show. And mind you all the participants join shows knowing very well these facts, that their actions will be seen on the screen by everyone and that their personality is part of the competition.

Yoon Jiyoon impressed me tbh I never liked her attitude but she's different. If this is the real her then I have no issues with her being in the team. Jungeun just needs to show more a diff style maybe to prove herself cos she's had it easy from the start so to speak. 9:25 I’ve been saying saebi would be better as a soloist 😭 she like REALLY immerses herself in the performance which is fine but i think it leads to her being overly expressive which makes her overpower everyone else on stage, which I don’t feel like is great for the group bc then it becomes a “___ and friends” type of situation. a different youtuber also said that during iwaly, saebi was more of a center and it masked fuko and made her severely less visible which I also agree w and so i think saebi should be solo. she was born to be on stage but by herself

But, I think that the concept of this coming girl group from I-Land2 is not suitable for charismatic people like yui, sujung, and juwon.. etc :") That is why Mnet didn't pay attention to what will coming for these teenagers career at their future cause they will not debut in that group any way. This is my personal opinion on Sujung. I am someone who believes attitude makes the person regardless of how talented one is. Seeing her gossip about Mai behind her back, not wanting to help her and only thinking of herself really puts me off. Even if it is a competition, she really shows no sportsmanship and definitely not a team player. From a friend perspective, I would have been hurt and sad if I knew she was talking like that behind me. It would create awkward atmosphere for both. Knowing Mai, she would have helped Sujung if she needs help but Sujung wouldn't do the same. In fact Sujung's inferior complexity makes her gossip about her with other people instead of talking to Mai straight to her face. I've had friends who are like Sujung and these snakes are definitely a red flag. Those fans justifying Sujung's actions probably are the snake themselves if they have never met such person. The excuse saying she's just a teenager going through phases is old because even adults have this kind of toxic behaviour. From an employer perspective, based on my experience no matter how talented or smart you are, if you have a bad personality chances are you will not get picked. It will affect the team's balance and chemistry. Even if you won many awards or graduated from Harvard with perfect scores, if you only think of yourself and can't work as a team then it will be a problem. Especially if you have a bad personality and are caught backbiting others. Sujung is too overconfident and competitive she lose sight that her attitude and mindset was the real problem. Not the producers and not the audience. Yes talent matters but you can rub someone off the wrong way with your attitude. Employer would prefer someone who might be average but humble and can improve quickly and are eager to learn and have no attitude problems like Mai than Sujung who seems too over confident and put other people down and makes fun of them. From a religious perspective, backbiting is one of the greatest sins. To backbite is to gossip about someone behind her back. Secret slander is the essence of backbiting, and it is strongly condemned in the Bible as it tears people apart, divide their group, disperses their unity and creates a rift between them. They become at odds against hatred and enmity. In 1 Corinthians 5:11-13 regards this matter: We are not to keep company with those who call themselves brothers and sisters and yet backbite (revile).
