Steve Kerr AND Steph Curry the 3pt game. Steve Kerr gave Curry the greenlight to shoot 3s and Curry made them look effortlessly. So once the warriors started winning, all the other coaches copied.
@treanglin93702 күн бұрын
@@peacockmusicpage curry had green light but was efficient and never took forced threes like that unlike harden who had ultimate green light in Houston
@peacockmusicpage2 күн бұрын
@treanglin9370 yeah that's why i said it took both Kerr and Curry to change the game because Curry shot less 3s with Mark Jackson and you are right about Curry being efficient. If it was any other player, it might not have worked. Also, they had Klay as well. Kerr + the splash brothers made this new 3pt era possible. I'm talking about prime Klay.

Yeah, but basketball is a team sport. You should've double team The truth, but with Curry, you can't. Try 1st quarter, you can't because if Warriors plays at their pace, Curry is catching and shooting. So therefore, you have to stick with your game plan, that's where Curry hits you. 2nd quarter, Curry now understands he is being overly overguarded or the attention is not on anyone else, he brings the ball up knowing he's a magnet, now that's when the show starts. Curry is now calling out all the plays with Draymond, he is going baseline to baseline, in the paint, back out the paint, weak side, strong side pick and roll, setting screens at the top to either give up the ball and get it back. 3rd quarter, so your team thinks Curry is not able to keep up with this, then that's when all he'll breaks loose, he is now driving in the lane because there's a white kid in a black man's body that for some reason everyone on the Warriors is making the original play for, but at the same time, he is letting you know he gets buckets meanwhile everyone else is also getting buckets. So now, either all that I said was somehow undercontrolled, but 4th quarter starts, your team has been playing this man getting 4 point plays, somehow getting tough contested shots off, being left wide open on certain defensive breakdowns, and Curry comes in with 8 minutes to end all hopes. Because he is not rested, and every turnover or stop we get, there's like this beat or rhythm that he's moving at where it's fast, but not so fast you're just watching him, but not too slow where he needs time to get organize. Three after three, he is countering all your attacks like a Mayweather boxing match, and when the bell rings 🔔, a lose to you means a win to his collection.

Did Steph Curry truly revolutionize basketball, or did he make it a one-dimensional 'three-point fest'? Should the NBA find a way to limit the reliance on threes to make the game more balanced again?
@noahjones37692 күн бұрын
What Iman said actually makes sense. If Steph and the Warriors did not beat LeBron, go toe-to-toe with him and the Cavs for as long as they did, stay relevant beyond that, and even win more after that who's to say what would've happened. But that makes him a generational, transcendent talent to cause such a butterfly effect. But for the basketball world to realign itself, you would need a transcendent dominant force like a Shaq (not Embiid) but more of a Giannis type that can anchor a dynasty centered around that play style.
