@atel4946 I'm not complaining. I don't mind having strong heroes. Just don't wanna see the same root rider attack over and over. But there have been a couple of times where pros have 3 starred a base in a tournament without using a single troop space - so heroes are definitely strong.

What they should do is every week a troop and spell get boosted so there is no single meta for certain town halls and you have to get good at all kinds of attacks. Yes this would be kind of hard to balance but I feel like it would lessen people complaining about having one meta

Remember,Nerfing doesnt mean literally making the troops trash but to keep it in the same lane as other strats ...i think tat the RR nerf did its job ...The number of 3 stars drastically dropped and the attck speed time decreased ...Even in competitive we would see less of it,Overall now its not just spam but a strategic game

@@pistolpete3199there has to be at least 1 team comp that can be spam, which can be used by not very skillful players, that’s what keep the game alive, not 100% of players in the game are QC masters or walkers. If they can’t find an easy to play team comp, they might quit and supercell doesn’t want that. Moreover, you can still spam RR now but it’s harder and easier to fail, they achieved their target. There are still balancing work to do but this update did some differences

I think they have it spot on now. You can still 3 star with a good attack and max heroes/equipment, but it's not a given anymore. Before the last few nerfs, you had to screw up something, to not 3 star with the RR attack and have weaker heroes/equipment. CWL went from first round, only a couple 2 stars, to probably 60% 2 stars next couple rounds after the nerf. Definitely not an auto 3 star anymore.

The nerf cannot stop people from using RR but i think that’s not their target either. Everyone can still use RR but they have to pay more attention and be more strategic now. It is more difficult to spam RR and more fails will happen. Lalo, hybrid and dragons are coming back, so yeah, there are some positive changes

@@artrik69420 Almost all troops have become broken at lower townhalls with the townhall 16 update because of all the defensive nerfs and troop buffs. I have seen casual players swagging a lava hound and 15 balloons in a Lalo attack. At the moment, the hardest townhall in the game is townhall 16 (which itself is a joke lol)

I'm TH13 and my main army is Queen Charge into LaLo. I just 3 star'd a base without even needing the Lalo. Queen Charge(lv 65) + King (lv 65) + RC (lv 12) were necessary to perfect the base. I just needed to launch the balloons not to time fail but all the defenses were down even before I released them. The defense nerf is really really bad at lower THs.

The games is still massively unbalanced, if matching was based on Same Town Hall level and not Trophies/Trophy Range, finding opponents at the higher leagues wouldn't be an issue, areas of the game like Builder Base, Clan War, Clan War League need "Same Town Hall Level Matching" if they did that, balancing the game, troops and the metas would be much easier, Imagine builder hall 5 being matched with a maxed builder hall 10, sounds crazy right but it happens at higher trophy ranges which shouldn't be the case. People wouldn't be so scared to climb leagues if matching was fair, that would result in greater chances of finding opponents in higher leagues. The reason SC wont change it is because they profit off of the rushers, as long the game has this unbalance that makes people see a wall shunting their progression they will spend and or rush to clear the height of the wall each time or in one go. Sad if the game was actually balanced via "same TH lvl matching" there would be no rush meta, no unfair matchups, more cost efficient progression, more diverse wars with different TH levels, the trophy and league system would have to be repurposed making it more rewarding to climb up in the leagues, but nope long as they can lock players in a mindset making them feel the need to rush to certain levels or to get ahead and make bank off that it ain't changing...

But why nerf TH14 - TH11? TH14 maxed was defenseless against TH13 players, TH12 maxed was defenseless against TH11 players now those town halls are a literal cakewalk. TH10 is still skillful without siege and easy with siege machine. It’s disgusting how if you looked at the preview of a level 5 and a level 6 x bow right now they can no longer win against a balloon and a witch, also the eagle artillery level 3 is now the damage of a former level 1 eagle. I understand that attack strategies have got stronger but why continue to hammer those THs 14, 13, 12, and 11 if no one had any problems with 3 starring them?

Don’t kid yourself. The nerf is perfectly warranted and is not “too much” for normal players. If you can triple any base simply by spamming all your troops from the get-go, then that’s a testament of your skill level (or lack thereof). Learn how to read bases and how to attack like the rest of us. And while you’re at it, remind yourself that this is a strategy game.
