Xbox player going against a pc player in pvp is extremely difficult, amount of times I just sit and wait with a black screen and hear my ship taking a absolute beating is so frustrating, even catching a merman can take what feels like a lifetime. Their is no right or wrong way of playing this game. I'm terrible at pvp so try and avoid it as 9 times out of 10 I lose out. Doesn't stop me enjoying it though.

See, if I get raided by someone like this who's having fun with the game and not attacking and cussing me out thebwhole time and being a punk, it's actually fun. I had one guy send a message while flanking me saying, "stop in the name of the queen!" I laughed so hard and he did beat me but it was so much fun. The game should just be people having fun, they get your loot then they won. Solo slooping you can't really get upset if someone beats you anyways haha.

BaambanX No, I’ll speak for all Xbox players. When I play on SoT arena, I get mopped when I play with cross play, but usually come top when I play controllers only. CS;GO does extremely well on PC, but did abysmally on Xbox. Why? Cause the game has no in-built aim assist. For the pro-leagues of games like Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, and Smite, all games with healthy PC communities as well as console communities, all pro players opt in to use M&K. This isn’t just coincidence. Xbox players are on average worse in aim than their M&K counterparts.
