We should look at this rule change as the answer to the limitation of roster players, now these kids who can’t get in on scholarship can go to JUCO and wait till they’re better and can now be offered scholarships. It’s a great idea. it’s a great concept and answers the question of no more walk on opportunities.

It is not about how this benefits the school and NFL or fans personal feelings. It is a simple question of fairness or the hated word equality. The answer is obvious, all players should be allowed equal rights to potential earnings. So either JUCO's have to pay players of they deserve to be paid for 4 years at the D1 level. It benefits the players to adjust to life and increases their earning potential. The purpose of school is to help young men and women get ahead. With all this being said, Diego should win this case because it benefits the players and JUCO's because they don't have the money or earning potential of D1 schools. It also benefits the D1 schools, not that it should matter, to be more competitive because not all 5 or 4 star players will have a chance to play pro because the NFL and Pro Football teams can only handle a small number of College Football Players. It also helps smart players to start businesses and help their families. It is a win win for everyone except haters.

Be amazing if Hodge could play another year. I don't think Hodge is 1st or 2nd round pick anyways.But Dion said on Rich Eisen that we have a few guys this could benefit if this ruling goes that way...not just him.

Most of these guys are in college because the NFL and NCAA have an agreement. A college degree is not the goal.
