Sorry Amma, Noor Jahan’s ending was perfect. NJ wasn’t all black. What she did was to rival Mukhtiyar, become someone who can make up for the zaat taunt she had gotten all her life. She was caught up with this her whole life, and now when she was all alone and lost everything, she had time to think over. It had been around a year because two birthdays were shown. She asked forgiveness and explained why she did, what she had gone through and how she is willing to change. Noor Bano forgave her because she saw how her father wasn’t all right. She broke the cycle of hate. It was brilliant. It was just rushed

After he left, she was visibly shocked. Yes, she did rejoice at his death but that was more of personal vendetta than a calculated kill. What I didn’t like was the rushed thing with Noor Bano forgiving Murad & the other sons. He shouldn’t have been forgiven so easily. NB was fine and understandable.
