In his press conference this week, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell signalled that the Fed is nearing the end of its regime of hiking interest rates, especially as a new tightening of lending standards resulting from the recent banking system woes is equivalent to additional rate hikes.
A Fed pause is likely good for gold, as that will end/slow the rise in real interest rates. And should he Fed actually pivot, as the market is pricing in by summer, that should be even more favorable for precious metals prices, as real interest rates should be in decline then.
And of course if they Fed's tightening efforts "break something" beyond the cracks that have recently shown up in the banking system, crisis fears should drive even more capital into gold.

At Wealthion, we show you how to protect and build your wealth by learning from the world’s top experts on finance and money. Each week we add new videos that provide you with access to the foremost specialists in investing, economics, the stock market, real estate and personal finance.
We offer exceptional interviews and explainer videos that dive deep into the trends driving today's markets, the economy, and your own net worth. We give you strategies for financial security, practical answers to questions like “how to grow my investments?”, and effective solutions for wealth building tailored to 'regular' investors just like you.
There’s no doubt that it's a very challenging time right now for the average investor. Above and beyond the recent economic impacts of COVID, the new era of record low interest rates, runaway US debt and US deficits, and trillions of dollars in monetary and fiscal stimulus stimulus has changed the rules of investing by dangerously distorting the Dow index, the S&P 500, and nearly all other asset prices. Can prices keep rising, or is there a painful reckoning ahead?
Let us help you prepare your portfolio just in case the future brings one or more of the following: inflation, deflation, a bull market, a bear market, a market correction, a stock market crash, a real estate bubble, a real estate crash, an economic boom, a recession, a depression, or another global financial crisis.
Put the wisdom from the money & markets experts we feature on Wealthion into action by scheduling a free consultation with Wealthion’s endorsed financial advisors, who will work with you to determine the right next steps for you to take in building your wealth.

Current events are consistent with the agenda. World population exploded with the proliferation of credit and use of hydrocarbons. So interest rates are going up, way up. In the same vane of "Princes of the Yen", here's why: They've loaned money into creation to people and corporations to buy things, homes, property plant and equipment. You pay them interest and if you can't service the loan, they own your home, property, plant and equipment. That's why interest rates were held so low for so long. Similarly Japan's BOJ sabotaged the Japanese economy in the 1980's by forcing loan quotas. Everyone including corporations have refinanced at near zero rates, it's like a drug dealer giving you free samples of heroine, crack or meth. The drug dealer eventually stops giving you free samples, and now you owe him, he owns you. If not now, soon. It's not if, it's when. So the banksters printed money into creation by offering loans, soon we'll watch the banksters take all those things back for nothing. I think I recall hearing there was a loophole where you don't lose your house but I don't know for sure. It's genius. They'll keep interrupting the supply of lending, (bank failures via higher rates) food, (suspicious fires) energy, housing (unfettered immigration), and china sourced goods, (locking Chinese in their homes), they own the Chinese factories, remember who opened China to western investment?, and POOF!!! There's your inflation, and excuse to keep raising rates. That'll strengthen the USD setting off a string of bankruptcies at home and abroad. Problem, reaction, solution a WON WORD ODOR, a CALM YOU NITS MARK ITS takeover of all manner of lending and production as regional banks, pension funds, and asset markets collapse. A GENDER 20HURTY. In the vane of the Milkshake Theory, a stronger $USD will trigger a global financial crisis as $USD denominated debt will make it more difficult for those countries owing dollars to repay the debt. So what? Fewer banks will be left standing and all manner of lending and production will be controlled by the remaining banksters. P.S. Can you even trust any of the databases or reporting agencies?

I have a hard time understanding why deflation is bad? Or is it when you guys talk about inflation you’re talking about consumer prices and when you’re talking about deflation you’re referring to asset deflation? Thanks for the great channel!

@@jadenkutz Inflation enables the Ponzi scheme to continue. You buy a house, the house goes up in value, the debt you owe is likely to be repaid using worth less every year $USD. People realize this and keep borrowing and borrowing because they know the value of assets keep going higher and higher, people, corporations, plant, property, land and equipment, all worth the cost of going into debt to acquire. But eventually with all the debt taken on will nilly can be used against the masses when evil forces decide to pull the plug. With all the money they loaned into creation hits a peak, when it looks like the debt will become difficult to repair, the banksters will foreclose on all the assets bought will borrowed money. Deflation would have discouraged borrowing. The Ponzi scheme would not have gone on this long. They control the timing. Now I predict they will use inflation as the mechanism to collapse world economies. Higher rates, stronger $USD contrary to popular opinion, these are the end times. The party is over.

One thing about traders is they think they know it all and that's why they'll continue to lose. If you pay attention to big banks and big hedge fund institution you'll know their approach to the charts is different and that's why they keep liquidating traders. Since I learned the hedge fund approach of trading I have been wining 80% of my bias and I know how much I've made in just these few months
@menon2954

it's important to keep in mind that there are many different approaches and strategies that can be successful in trading. It's also worth noting that big banks and hedge funds have access to resources and information that individual traders may not have, such as advanced technology, research, and data analysis tools. This can give them an edge in the market. That being said, it's great to hear that you have found success using a hedge fund approach to trading and have seen positive results in just a few months. It's important to continue to learn and adapt your strategies as the market changes and to remain disciplined in your approach to trading. Good luck in your future trades!

Federal Reserve lent $143 billion to the FDIC without congressional approval, circumventing the debt ceiling since the Treasury’s Federal Reserve general account was depleted to $278 billion. The bailout of Silicon Valley and Signature Banks’ depositors violated the Dodd-Frank Act’s bail-in provisions. Oh, and the FDIC had over $60 billion of its reserves in long-duration treasuries that have unrealized losses.

I advocate a pause b/c I think the Fed may have already over-tightened enough to break inflation (and then some), but the effects of that aren't yet apparent due to the lag effect. Pausing allows us to "wait & see" if that's true or not. If not, the Fed can resume hiking. If so, then pausing avoids us from making the arriving recession worse than needed.

Yes please interview the miners on air. More information on these miners is most certainly welcome. Listening to the officials from the mining companies that have been vetted is one more piece of the puzzle giving a clearer picture. Investors are left to judge for themselves to buy or not. Knowledge is power.

Yes, it would be good to hear from mining ceo's about the good, bad, and ugly of their endeavors. Preferably without getting payment consideration for your channel.

Please note... we're not really out of sideways chop only for gold and silver spots.... we're hitting a little higher, thanks to panic, but it won't surprise me to see if drop back down and continue sideways. Maybe it'll break out, though I hope not. I'm trying to buy, not sell or have high numbers in portfolio. I've so far NAILED the lows in the last 8 months.
