If I recall, the update did nothing but account for winrates. Pet decks were abysmal because none of the cards were good. Therefore, they buffed them all at once because they all collectively had low winrates. It's also why some cards like Viking and Nurse got buffs despite being good cards already.

When I read the patch notes I was really upset because I despised most of the changes. So glad they're listening to feedback at least! I don't mind a few bugs if they get fixed within a reasonable amount of time, though I do wonder what they're doing to mess up that badly... Could be a GW situation where nobody who actually worked at the game is in PopCap anymore and the new "team" is having to figure out other people's code?

On the subject of bugs: the Zombie King bug, that I managed to troll my friend with earlier, is possibly one of the most broken ever (transforms zombies when King is in your hand) And King wasn't even in the patch notes for either update! Good job PopCap. Edit: as of 20/12/2024 this has been fixed, but it was really silly while it lasted

Not sure about the new balance update because i never played pvzheroes before but i think it's nice that it got a update after 5 years of nothing... The update favoring zombies is weird, instead of making both sides plants and zombies have great buff or nerfs so it doesn't feel like one sides had it better then the other side. i hope they don't forget about pvzheroes.

There is a bug with Buried Treasure. When you conjure a I forgot name but its the one that turns zombies into knights, if you conjure it, for some reason, all zombies start turning into Knights.

I would make BC super act more like when you gain a superpower from a block. You conjure the plant, and you can either play it right away for free, or hold onto it hoping for a more opportune moment.

it would be way too op though, you’d often be getting a 3-drop’s worth of stats if not more. good luck dealing with 4/3 fire pea, or 3/4 sweet pea, 3/3 black eyed pea, 2/3 double mint, 2/3 lily, 3/2 rotobaga, 7/2 wild berry, 3/3 juggernut, 2/3 tricarrotops, yeah you can also low roll and get stuff like hot date or water chestnut but there’s a ton of stuff that would be super unfair to see on turn 1

Hey, I noticed something while playing PVZ Heroes. So, I got the game a couple of months ago, and it was pretty fun. But now when I go into a multiplayer match it takes forever to load, and when it does finally load, its against a high rank with tons of super-rares and legendary cards while I'm stuck with a budget deck with only a couple of rares. Has this happened to anyone else or am I just really unluckly? It only happened recently after I downloaded the update and I think it might be a way for EA to steal more money (along with putting adds to refresh quests and get double rewards from events.)

38:43 i am on the same side as fry em up , aka more optimistic I understand why people are mad , but really , there being an update that , in full honesty , has more good changes than bad ones is great , it's a breath of fresh air and i do hope that the new janitor team will fix these issues and keep making small changes , once the issues are gone and plants get a few small buffs/changes then this update will truly be great overall Although i already find it to be great overall still excluding the game breaking bugs , there are issues but this update has reneved my interest in this game fully , before i only watched fry and nothing else ,now i watch more and even went back to playing it a lot , i love some of these new changes and i find the game to be considerably more fun (if zombies play without anything game breaking)

Favorites? Nerfing Tricarrotops and Cob Cannon, buffing Gizzard, Abracadaver, Mad Chemist... Least? Nerfing random cards from Aggro Solar Flare for no reason, making Transfiguration and Sizzle overpowered, nerfing Grave Robber and Monkey Smuggler and getting rid of Clock.

I feel like they should’ve buffed (you’ll later on find out you can’t) Trapper Zombie. Idk if he got nerfed or buffed or anything this update, but he’s TERRIBLE for an event card. FOUR BRAINS to just spawn a weak measly zombie spikeweed sector that literally only does 0.25 dmg for every brain is even worse than a 1/1 no ability card. (not an opinion, it’s a fact) And the actual zombie itself is also really bad. It has 0.75/0.75 stats for every brain which is basically just a slightly worse 1/1 no ability card. Assuming you play the trapper territory on the same lane as the actual trapper, you’ll get 1/0.75 value, 1.25/0.75 if you have 2 plants in your lane. That’s as bad as a 1/1, which is ridiculous, imagine if Skunk Punk was an event card? Also, it’s WAY better value to just place an actual Trapper Territory. Imagine if Kitchen Sink had a cheaper alternative that does the same thing as him but just better value. They should buff him by ummm, uhhh… i don’t know how. He just is terrible the way he is and won’t be good unless he gets a complete rework
