After that it's been a ton of up and down with balance issues, bugs, shitty servers, constant audio issues, cheaters on all platforms and pros dictating the changes in this game.

Her passive is insane IMO. It's like a free Octane stim every time you get shot at. At least for Octane to go fast he's gotta sacrifice a little HP. Bangalore just flies around like a maniac every time I fire at her. I also find her smoke to be particularly annoying because I hate low visbility. I have the same issue with Caustic gas, Horizon's black hole, etc. anything that prevents me from seeing properly. Bangalore's ultimate isn't great but can cover a lot of ground and if you do happen to catch an enemy in the blast, the stun effect lasts a long ass time so it's potentially a free kill.

Some things I feel about Buffs and Nerfs With proper effort and training, regular players can pull off some of the techniques that Pros pull off It should be once goal to get as good as they can add a game that they take seriously. If you're not taking a game that seriously, not only should you not care about winning or losing that much, but you probably aren't good enough to be as affected by changes as you think you are. If a character has a weaker kit that is hard to balance without overpowering more fun should be added into that kit.. I usually look at fighting games as the basis of how the Buffs and Nerfs can work. In that genre it is easier to see the effects of slight changes. The overall goals should be balance and Justified pick rates. On top of that. The idea is that regular players either by watching the techniques of the pros, or just buy perfecting their own skill will eventually play at a level similar to pros. In which case imbalance truly shows.

All while the majority of the issues the game has had are still big issues. For example the sound is still fucked and the servers are still 20 tick servers. Every time they update the game, it breaks. So a lot of us "nerds" are pissed about a game we love. Get over yourself kiddo

@@total_gabroni_3 Not sure of the full extent of the nerfs, but they took away the ult highlighting working through smokes, they made scanning birds charging ult a perk instead of a built-in ability, and the addition of all recon legends getting enemy highlighting on ADS was sort of an indirect nerf to BH ult Also I'm pretty sure they removed knocks in ult adding to the timer. Basically just a ton of ult nerfs over time 😅

Rich, love the content, still! It’s sad to me how much negativity there is in all the Apex comments with people wanting the game to die when there are 18 million daily players in 2024. I quit Cod years ago because of the half a second gunfights, and honestly, there is no other fun game for me, out there, right now. Valorant looks like a pc game from early 2000, cod is still cod, Fortnite is kids play, Finals has no depth past the one game mode type, etc. etc. I love the depth and skill ceiling of Apex, and have yet to see anything that will even come close to pulling me away. "of course they HAVE to make changes to characters that effect the best players." No they don't. Thats a stupid way to balance a game. The best players are a tiny percentage of overall players. Less than 1% of 1%. They shouldn't make ANY changes to the game based on a player sampling of that size, even if they are the best players. beyond that, the best players in the game have concerns that are completely out of whack with the rest of the player base. its absurd to make changes that effect the entire player base to serve the absolute smallest number of players. The game would be better off with pros and their input.

Everyone loves to blame the pros for balance changes while simultaneously ignoring that everything that’s done in competition and on stream bleeds into the casual playerbase. Meta’s start at the top and trickle down into ranked then to pubs 100% of the time. Catering to the pros makes more sense for the overall health of the game than catering to the casual players. They don’t want to hear that though.

You’re saying pro play is a problem to balance around, I am saying it is the best way to balance the game. There’s nothing similar in what we’re saying at all. You can’t reliably see how something is balanced on a group of players who have skill levels all across the board. If you have a large group of very good players then you know that individual skill is having minimal impact while the balance of legends and weapons are having a noticeable impact. If every good player is using the same legend/weapons that is a clear indicator that those are giving them an advantage and thus are stronger(unbalanced). I don’t want unbalanced crap in my casual or ranked games so I’m glad the pros highlight it.
