TLDR: No. The normal, easier farming methods are fine unless you're going for a world record like these 2 did.

The harder people learn how to farm the harder it is for the rest of us. I really, really, REALLY do not want Ninja Kiwi to balance boss events around these strats because it results in bosses that are impossible to play through casually

I do agree, however I think NK creating double cash mode helps a lot with this. 2x cash mode makes the game better for casual players. I am a casual player too lol I do wish 2x cash worked on farms tho, but it only works on pops.

Yeah I haven't really done much work on it recently, but I know it's boat paragon on lotus island because geraldo's shop only gets one paragon totem a round. (Place beast handler in specific spot at the back of the map and it transfers the bloons back the start so we can stall for IMF farming) I'm 95% sure being in dept doesn't effect the paragon degrees from the boats making money. So yeah find an optimal time to switch from IMF to Boat farming and a degree 100 paragon should be possible at about round 70-75

Well not yet, I'd need to get bloons on steam so then i could have hotkeys, and maybe with someone tweaks to the strategy such as selling IMFs in a certain order to save money, and possibly things like a flavoured trades with the abyss lord, but i don't think that would work. The flavoured trades would work on a custom map. So maybe round 26 paragon on custom map.

It's a joke in the BTD6 community. They always refer to the favoured trades upgrade as flavoured trades. I've seen ISAB do it as well and very recently, the official ninja kiwi video about the new purple type boss balloon also had "flavoured trades" in it

@@Hbomb When bosses came out it was the peak farming of both XP (by that one late game daily challenge) and money (before all the massive farming nerfs)

Note that IMF farming is extremely overpowered in coop because you can give all your money to another player and never worry about the debt. If you are in singleplayer then this can cripple your economy for the rest of the game so be very careful when using it.

Sniper farming is much more space-efficient and sustainable than IMF farming. IMF farming makes use of a bug where selling or using an ability fails to drop your debt past any multiple of 10000, else it would be much weaker even on Easy. And IMF farming slows down all of your other farming by 40%. What I would love to see done would be an optimized full-map sniper farming run on Moon Landing, to round 60 or 80 or 100, just to see how crazy it can get and how much stronger sniper farming (with probably the T5 farms and a medium Monkeyopolis) is compared to BRFs.

I actually don't think with a full map of snipers you would be able to stall to get the maximum number of crates. Hundreds of bouncing bullet snipers would obliterate anything even if it was behind a wall (assuming they even just see the bloons once)

@@OrangeBloon I suppose you'd need a really good stall setup with towers like Permafrost, Falcon, xx2 glue, downdraft, and a MAD placed in such a way that it only hits the blimps, even a permaspike at the end of the stall if the bouncing bullets are a big problem

I have a question why do most BTD6 runners run most of the time to only bank t3 instead of upgrading them to t4 IMF? Is there more profit and a quicker cash rate? Also, what is the best cross-path for a bank? I used to build 2-4-0, but now I do 0-4-2, so I can kinda forget the bank a little and focus on other stuff. Also I'm a semi-casual player.
