Well done! I backed this guy and so glad to have him. I did not know who Deathsaurus or Victory Saber were but the designs were so cool, these 2 pulled me into the series. I am also so glad Deathsaurus does not have all those gaps and spaces that plagued Victory Saber. This is another example of how third party companies came to the rescue and made gap fillers for Victory Sabre. Again thank you for the review. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

If you think their designs are cool and watched victory, take a look at the Brave Series that came out not long after, not directly transformers but incredibly inspired but without the baggage being a transformers series brings so there’s overall more freedom in the ideas

I didn't back Victory Saber, I don't remember why. So I made sure to back Deathsaurus right away, and... _oh boy..._ I'm SO glad I did! He's just shy of perfect; no gaps, paint is on point, articulation is amazing, alt mode is... well, it's the death chicken for sure, this figure is a 10/10 for me honestly.

@@mauriciodiaz8315 Apparently they said the next HasLab isn’t from Japanese G1, so it probably won’t be the next one sadly. They gave us the clue “Omega,” leading people to think it’s either gonna be Primus, Animated Omega Supreme, or RID01 Omega Prime

I preordered the latest Haslab figure, RID (2001) Omega Prime. I own both Victory Saber & Deathsaurus toys & aside from a few design flaws, I absolutely love both toys. I hope at some point, Haslab gives us Liokaiser 😊🙏

This guy looks like he'd feel good in the hand. They rarely make them like this anymore. You can just kinda tell by how some plastic looks that it's gonna FEEL good quality, and this looks incredible. That combined with modern engineering... this is peak Haslab.

They make very big announcements for them on socials and streams and it's plastered everywhere online so I'd say just keep an eye out on those. And once it's announced you have 45 days of being able to buy it

As far as blast effects go, the absolute least they could've done is packed the Transmetal II Megatron fire breath effect. If there was ever a time to repack it!

there are issues i have with the figure 1 of which is the limited limb articulation, like seriously only 90 degrees on both his elbows and knees with the knees you can cheat it by untabbing a part but that doesn't really count your transforming him to give him more articulation, and then the hands just why couldn't they have givien him a pointing finger too just so he can look like he is commanding his chest cons, also you cannot tell me he isn't just soundwave mixed with grimlock

I would love to have the rest of the Decepticon Justice Division (DJD) from IDW. It was a suprise to see Tarn in transformers legacy, but of the members he was probably the "safest" bet. The other members turn into torture devices. If anybody is gonna buy anything like that, it'll be adults who love the series and have a lot of expendable money. I would absolutely love that

Yea Evan said whenever they revealed tarn, they want to do the rest of the DJD. They will just have to change the alt modes. He specifically brought up the one (unfortunately can't remember his name), who turns into an electric chair and said they would probably turn him into like a tank with tesla coils for turrets.

I only got back into collecting Transformers in April, so unfortunately missed the boat on this guy. Thankfully, I'd never heard of him, or seen the anime, so don't feel like I missed out too much, though he looks so damn good, I woulda grabbed him anyways, had I been able to buy him at retail cost. (Fuck Scalpers) Hopefully the next one is something I'd want, like a perfect Devastator or Superion.

I mean I read somewhere that a Prime never will be a Haslab. Haslab is more for characters that are very unlikely to get a character within the mainline, or in a very compromised form. With Deathsaurus, for example, they've been thinking about a retool and repaint of 86 Grimlock from what I've read. RID Optimus Prime is a figure that could very likely be put into the mainline, if only to get what feels like 4-5 Optimus Primes per figure series.
