Hi, just wanted to share my arbiter growing experience. I usually take them in the winter by cutting and they go in a covered area and following here in May they have excellent roots and then I popped them up. I do find that they have very small roots the sun just beat them up and kill him. Good luck on your journey.

As you noted, they needed more time to root. Also moving from shade to full sun is brutal on young arbs. Best to pot them up and keep them under shade cloth the first year.

Not great. I think I had 11 survivors but I learned a few things and I'm gonna do another round this week!

@@PopsVsPlants I'll watch for the video. I currently have some in a tote, as well as totes with rhododendron, hydrangea, and kiwi berry. I'm still learning and experimenting too.
