Did This Viewer’s Luchador Setup Just Break The Game? War Robots Gameplay WR

Thank you to the viewer for suggesting this build. Honestly I didn't think this build would actually work. In the majority of the games I played this thing just couldn't be killed. I was even in one game where I had two Newtons shooting me with the Tonans weapons and they just couldn't kill me lol. If I had the new weapons I think I probably could have killed them both. Is anyone running a setup similar to this?

I dont think anyone actually is, do you think it is better than most luch setups? Or do you think current luch setups would be better (because they can suppress jump yknow) or do you think the setup you used in this video would be more efficient in most things.

@@duuda-he9qj It's hard to tell as I would need to run more games. All I know is that with the jumping Luch I sometimes struggled vs two Newtons hitting and using the Choke ability on me. In the one game I experienced the Newtons just couldn't kill me. If I had the Tonans weapons for range they would have been dead because I was getting dangerously close to them. I also had another game on Canyon where I almost killed another Newton. The only reason why I died was because he had multiple teammates hitting me too and I think one might have been a Titan.

If you use 2x damage controllers on this Luch build I think you will survive more with less grey damage. What do you think?

Disabling your second ability would do more harm than good since it has the strongest reflector. If one ability has to go it will be primary.

Keep the reflector and add pilot skills that heal you or give more resistance when it's on.

Tradionalist skill is only good if you try compensating for not max battleship or modules on your titan, otherwise run 3 tra and 1 dmg controller and keep the abilities. Paladin is great for shielding and durability/health, but since a nerf can be expected in case mute doesnt sell good enough, I rather go for roulette or mute instead.

Considering paladin will most probably get a nerf in next 1 or 2 months to boost mute sales and pascal drone entering the game I think you shouldnt invest in paladin anymore unless you feel it.

i think that you should try to run either tonans and vajra or tonans and oxy build on a lucha like this, really amazing to play with, short range is amazing for it, i suppose it's a really good build against ochokochis (vajra one) and at long range you can always shoot with your tonans at least, would like to see it run maxed out, if this were to happen, i think the best modules would be 1 onslaught and 3 repair amps

Wow. I didn't know the luch had a traditionalist skill. I think the basilisk krait is a better choice for this one coz you can't face hog without your jump so most of the sonic weapons firepower would be wasted.

Yes, the range and accuracy was my suggestion, but krait cant dmg Ocho very well.

@HelloHello-ru8ee bas and krait was suggested because they have decent range and are accurate. I was concerned the bubble guns might not let you close in fast enough. In addition bas-krait show this build being completely off the meta and affordable, except for using a Titan pilot.

Too much maneuverability to give up in my eyes. Can push beacons and do crazy spawn raid junps on castle map, etc with jump ability. Hard to close gap on camping newtons if cant jump.

this build is similar to mine except mine has all durability skills and the traditionalist skill i have is Absolute Traditionalist (disables both abilities) with 3x TRA and 1 DC its some build i did for the laughs, just casually looking at rooks and newtons taking forever to kill me

One calls primary traditionalist which deactivates only primary ability and another calls absolute traditionalist which deactivates both primary and secondary ability but gives 6% base increased hp instead of 5% in primary traditionalist.

@@te9591 i also think reflector is needed too but this build will be something that you allow them to come to you , not you going to them . Play beacon rush capture the centre and drop it there. Choose all the skills that boosted defence and hp, leave all speed and low threshold skills . And modules also rack up the repair amplifiers and 1 grand balance reactor and 1 damage controller . Put oxy's on and Orion mothership hitting around you whenever possible & required..let the fight comes to you lol . What you think 😂😂

I have a question regarding the Marie pilot for the Mender, how does the grey damage repair strength work? Is it dependent on the amount of grey damage done to you? I don’t understand the desc. in the game, nor the 30% part

When you take damage, if you look at your health bar there will be a grey area. When you use Marie LeClair on your Mender you'll reduce that grey area by 30%. If you keep healing eventually you'll be at 100% health again. You can take this a step further by using something like the Paladin which also heals grey damage but if you have the Durability Extender turret you can keep gaining health. In other words you'll end up with a Mender that has more health than when you first dropped in. Hope this makes sense.

Lemme explain the reasoning behind 2dc and 2tra Consider the case if you have 3 tra(1is out of the window as it will be impossible to hit 60) You have to get to around 99%dmg taken to reach max stacks compared to 150%(I think dont quote me on the numbers)for 2 tras While you can reach that guranteed you wont heal as much and also have lower hp as most tank titans reach max stacks regardless of doing a ton of dmg Also 4tras is the same reasoning as after reaching max stacks there really isnt a point of having the extra 2 So while 3 is actually decent in the meta of newton 4 is probably not worth it

Hey Adrian, Why don't you try a Luchador with 3 repairs amps rather than 2. 3 repairs amps will make the Newtons like shooting blanks on you. Also try this build with a Self Fix Unit

the nodens doesn't but from my experience if played right with its ability to get defense points on heal, supress with supressor, pilot skill, other skills increasing defense, repair amps, and anticontrol had many times where overconfident players died to my nodens vadjra.

Hi Adrian, now i'm trying to build better Titan than sharangga, is heimdal still good enough to build to stand the damage for brawler or at least mid Range fight? Or is it noren or indra that be better? Is Newton good for brawler too or is it for mid Range fight? I can't get Eiffel or bewdyr, and i hate rook design

Out of the ones you have mentioned, for the long term Indra is best. For the current meta you are more likely to see Eiffels as they're the best but usually these Titans also get nerfed down pretty bad much like what happened with Newton. Hope this helps!

I never really use adamant pilot skills much on either bots or titans as they're dependant on the reds having three or more beacons. I'd rather use skills that are active permanently. They're good skills but I don't like the fact that if your team has more beacons they are redundant.

Usually when I'm building tanks I will have both Adamant Guardian and Invulnerable Raider. This way if I'm down on beacons Adamant Guardian kicks in. If I'm aggressive and push beacons then Invulnerable Raider kicks in. If we're down and I'm pushing beacons then both get activated.
