This KZbin channel is great and I love it. It’s great that she does cover both places and gives her honest opinion about how she’s feeling about certain things. I noticed that you mentioned something about not finding really good KZbin content about Universal stuff. Have you watched, Rix Flix ? The husband does the majority of the KZbin videos but his wife also joins in from time to time. He goes to Disney but his main focus seems to be Universal. He gives all kinds of Universal Studios information. He reports all the different things that happen or will be happening or rumored to happen at the different parks at Universal. He’ll go try out all the new food and drinks and show the new merchandise at the different store locations etc. Of course keep watching this channel and this one’s always first but if you haven’t seen that KZbin channel you might want to check it out.

I’m happy that Allears seem to be doing more Universal content, but Rixflix is def a more experienced Universal goer and gives you a ton of info.

@@sheilasutardi1363 no problem. I am happy that it helped. There are some really great KZbin channels especially for Disney World. However, for a while Universal just wasn’t covered as much as Disney. It seems like more channels that in the past mostly covered Disney World are starting to include Universal. Universal is definitely growing by leaps and bounds and adding all kinds of new and exciting rides and events. Rix Flix seemed to be one of the few channels that the main focus was Universal Studios Orlando and then secondary was Disney World. He and his wife have great information and knowledge about Universal and seem to be really nice individuals.

We just went. Went on a Sunday evening first, so grateful we did. The magic of seeing Hogwarts for the first time all lit up for Christmas was amazing. We did both Disney and universal this trip, and Universal hands down was better for Christmas, crowds and hand sanitizer!

To answer the Titled question: Yes, I think Universal's been stepping up their game for years! Disney's been too big for its britches for too long now. You'd think losing Hogwarts to Universal would've taught them something. Physically we can't tolerate the thrill rides; so we've been loyal to Disney....but that's changing. Especially since the coasters in HP are tolerable; I can't do upside down or jerky. I've never had a Disney AP, but I'm getting a UOAP and we're staying with Universal next year (for Disney's 50th).

Merry Christmas, Molly and Allears team! I'm wondering, our travel agent is telling us that you can only do one park per day at Universal, but I thought Molly was going back and forth on the Hogwarts Express? Is this a recent development or is our travel agent just wrong? Lol

Your travel agent is wrong. You just need to get the Park to Park tickets. You can go in between the 2 parks easily though the train. Or if that is too long, you can just exit out into City Walk and walk in through the main entrance. If you are going during a busy time, they will normally open the walk way through Studios/Islands so you don't need to leave the park or wait for the train. Have fun!!

I said to myself last year if I had to go to Universal one more time I’m not going (I have a Universal family) but Universal has been outdoing Disney by a long while for months. It’s been more lopsided than the Seahawks/Broncos Super Bowl. You chose to reopen. There was no reason for Disney to make all the cuts they made. Closing some attractions and restaurants, hotels etc would’ve been normal and understandable but they went to the extreme.
