Finally a cabin update!! Huge congrats guys that is so exciting. When i saw the first video I knew you were totally going to get it as it's totally perfect for you guys. We went through the same thing buying a few years earlie then we planned just because we landed on a place (but at the time lived a few provinces away) but the good thing about these off-grid camps is you can just leave them for a bit. Will you buy a side by side to explore the backcountry? We are a family of 3 and plan to use our cabin as our home base but we are a bit limited with one ATV and the truck so we definitely plan to get a side by side. You guys rock, best youtubers out there

I think what you are doing is very smart. You create a "hub" and from there you'll have day trips and overnight trips with something to come back to.

I love Tori's channel!!! I've been subscribed since she started it. I especially loved the maple syrup collecting and prep!!! I am so pleased to hear that you secured this cabin and your adventures out there will be boundless. We recently finished building a square log house in what is a more secluded, remote area than the acreage we used to own. That said the longer we have lived in this place the less secluded/ remote it feels! If it wasn't for my age I would probably adventure even deeper into the back 40 and build yet another place...nature has that effect upon you I guess. God Bless you and your wonderful children, WS

The off-grid cabin phenonemon has been an absolute mystery to me. I get that it was likely started by shawn/reliance who just up and built one or three. But most everyone else was just riding those coattails, not doing anything particularly useful, and yet the demand was always there for some reasons i can't fathom. Now, this idea is putting some new thought and creativity in the to cabin genre, and it makes sense to me. Great to see some original thinking, and good luck!
