Feb. 25 to Mar 03, 2024 out of Galveston. Great food and service. Have been on several Princess' ships and first on the medallion. I was impressed with the cabin door unlocking within 6', dining room staff and food was most enjoyable. Sitting in the Atrium and ordering a drink (or hamburger) and having it delivered within 5 minutes to my location. Ordered wine for my wife and I and was brought to our cabin quite promptly. Looking forward to more medallion cruises in the near future.

The medallions are the best. Wish all the cruise lines had them. Just wish you could use the app to put your name in for the MDR brunch and breakfast like you can in Carnival. So much more convenient.

I’ve watched several videos of people showing their standard balcony room, and it seems incredible that nobody has complained about it missing a sofa and coffee table. I realize that the Deluxe Balcony rooms offer this, but Carnival and RCCL have the sofa and coffee table as part of the standard balcony room. The Princess room gives hardly any room for 2 people to move around.

Yes the regular balcony is much smaller. We had a regular balcony in August on an Alaskan cruise and really missed the little sofa. In the future we won’t upgrade to a regular balcony. I also stayed in a mini suite with my mom and sister in law last string in the Discovery Princess. That room was a good size for 3 people but won’t do anything smaller.

My cruise is in December and we have a deluxe balcony and it’s supposed to have a sofa sleeper so I’ll be upset if we don’t have one because our daughter will be traveling with us.

The little sofa might be a pull out we should have looked. I have only seen a sofa turn into a bed in the mini suite we were in which was a full size sofa.

World Fresh Marketplace (their buffet), by the pool there is a pizza by the slice and a grill all on the Lido deck. Then besides the dinning rooms the International Cafe on Deck 5. They use to have free room service but now there is a fee.

Nice ship.. some of the staff from Columbia not so accomodating. Food not so good. The BO was overwhelming sometimes.

Sky Princess cruise just finished. Just too crowded and too many relying on mobility aids. We are not “cruisers” but choose a holiday on various criteria which this cruise seemed to fit. Food OK only due to the patisserie stuff being very disappointing. Savoury food good. Getting around the fabulous ship tiresome because of the overcrowding and mobility issues of the majority of fellow oldies.

I have heard both positive and negative about the Sky Princess. The largest Princess ship we have been on is the Discovery and the elevators were hard to get and always crowded. We like to take the stairs but with 17 floors and older family members with us it was harder to get around together as a group.

Many terrible changes to the 2024 vs 2018 Princess Cruises. Food, entertainment, rooms, online reservation not made, special rest not good, cannot understand Italian Bridge crew, service folk friendly but under trained, no seafood or fish and chip venues, all around good service but horrible changes. Will try other cruise lines other than in the Celebrity lines.

Agreed. We were sad that what was included in January of 2023 wasn’t in August 2023 even though we paid for the August cruise before the daunted wee made. Kinda felt like a bait and switch on Princesses end. But we do love their medallions.
