@@Luna_LTA I get your point, but didn't he lose his index and middle fingers during the fight? I would think he would be able to learn how to write with his ring finger and pinky? It's hard, but not impossible. Plus, it would make sense that he couldn't write but could read, considering his past? It's just my interpretation, but I feel like it meant that he never learned to write. Not saying that you're wrong that he did learn to write, I just interpreted it differently than you, after all the way it was worded (for my translation) was a bit vague. Edit: Also, he lost them during the Kokushibo fight, but was still able to wield a sword against Muzan. I did have to look it up to confirm which hand the fingers were lost. It was his right hand, which is his dominant hand (as seen by which hand he holds his sword with).
