For all of you naysayers! If you compare today's XH-1 IBIS and auto focus to the best of only a few years ago, it would be about the top of the line out there. Panasonic and Olympus seem to be leading the way in IBIS for now since they have a few years head start, and Cannon is the current leader with auto focus (in some situations), but I suspect that Fuji will catch up quickly with their new firmware updates and new camera body releases over the next couple of years. So here is the difference between Fujifilm and all the others. Fuji will continue to provide firmware updates for the XH-1 long after their next newest cameras have been released. That's right! The XH-1 will continue to improve over time to remain competitive with everyone else's "future releases"! Just look at what they've done with it's predecessor the XT-2! I just got back from a trip to China, and while my pics (both jpeg and raw) were fantastic, many of my video segments were lacking in some situations due to the jerky IBIS. The video handled low light quite nicely, but I had to be very careful with panning, walking, ect... I purchased the X-H1 knowing that there would be a few initial issues since it's a brand new camera (such as battery life and IBIS jitters), but also knowing that Fujifilm would eventually fix any major issues, and they have already started with their first couple of firmware updates. Nobody does firmware updates like Fujifilm, and I expect that IBIS will receive a nice improvement soon as well. I've also heard rumors that they are working on a much improved battery to replace the current NP-W126S. Since I have the battery grip, this is not so much of an issue for me right now. I can typically get through a solid day's shooting with three batteries (two are provided in the battery grip). To conclude...If you purchase an XH-1 today, look for it to get even better over time! It already has the best color science out there and if you shoot primarily jpeg, it is unbeatable right now! I've shot with most of the other major brands over the years (Nikon, Cannon, Panasonic, Ricoh) starting way back in the actual film days, and I can tell you that in my experience, an innovative and customer responsive Fujifilm is number 1 bar none! Take that to the bank!

An IBIS system buzzer appeared on an X-h1 with less than 100 shots and 3 weeks of use, it drains the battery prematurely and this noise enters the video recordings, this is the store's response: Roberto, today I personally attended the test of your camera to Fuji's authorized technical service regarding the alleged anomaly that you declare. The test was to open a new X-H1, install the batteries, remove the lid of the body and make a noise test. There was no difference between his team that is under review and the new camera. Therefore, it is concluded that the equipment does not have any operation problem or factory failure. Faced with this we can not accept your request for change on the grounds that the equipment has some malfunction, there are no valid technical arguments, nor do I see any ethical problem in the sale of the product enhanced on 10/09/18 or in the period between that you gave the camera reporting the alleged failure. Notwithstanding the above, please ask the Technical Service for more specific information that indicates that the sound you indicate is an anomaly, is a functional part of the product due to the hardware's own conditions, they indicated that they will look for that background "and in the As long as there are "they will send them to me to make them arrive to you. But I repeat it without falling into the crap that for the manufacturer is a normal condition.
