(I'm not kink-shaming anybody here when I say that, btw.) Her dialogue and behaviors are clearly violent and she has an unhinged side... Charlie told her "If you see an angel, stab it," and she almost stabbed Angel Dust simply because she loves to stab things. Last nail in the coffin: She works for Alastor, and he only likes/"trusts" people who share his cruel streak. He even seems to like Niffty more than Husker, and she doesn't seem to be on the same leash to Alastor that Husk is. There has to be a reason Alastor gives her (pretty much) free reign and not many instructions. 🤔

Maybe that’s why she is obsessed with cleaning (this theory is completely made up by me as of two seconds ago so don’t quote me) she killed her husband and his mistress then in a panic started cleaning the blood, but it wasn’t working and she couldn’t get everything. Wile in this panicked state she kills herself. Now she is tormented by the images of the two bodies and all the blood so everything around her needs to be spotless. Everything except the three blotches on her shirt. Those,no matter how hard she tries, she can never wash out.

So, if I were to assume, it went somewhat like this. Nifty was hired as a maid to some house by a married couple with kids, the husband's name being Fred (the name she gave to the carpet stain). Then some messed up stuff happened, ending in Nifty murdering the people who hired her right in front of their children. Then her sanity rapidly went downhill, as she was trying to get rid of evidence and wash away blood stains from the carpet. And then she either took her own life, or went completely insane and lived the rest of her days in an asylum.

I had a hc that niffty married a wealthy man who fought in war. Once he came home he became super set on having kids but every time nifty got pregnant, the baby would die. After so long he gave up on her and threw her aside for his mistress. Niffty kinda knew but blinded herself by pills. One day nifty heard that her husband impregnated the mistress. In an act of rage she killed them with a kitchen knife. After she was done, she finally came down from her rage and saw what she had done and killed herself. (The pills made her loose her mind more and more ans eventually broke it, causing her to act the way she does in the show. Once she came to hell, she liked "bad boys" because she missed the torment and abuse her husband put her through. Idk, I made this hc from a fanfic I read)

I think that maybe Niffy had some mental problems that she wasn't being treated for, as from the time period her dress is from tends to not have great mental help in general, but even less so for women. Maybe she was able to handle it enough to have a dating life, but handling isn't really treating. And maybe her obsession with 'bad boys' is because she married someone who was a biker. And as for what got her to hell, maybe her husband brought home another woman during a time she was there, and instead of begin any way remorseful for being caught, her husband just started insulting her on how she isn't a good wife for him and started bashing her for her mental problems. Then Niffy went into a rage and killed both her husband and his mistress, and then either killed herself or got killed by police.

Actually there's a lore going around that nifty was Vox's wife in real life. And he was very abusive. So in a fit of blind rage one day that little housewife turned on her husband and killed him. And people suggest that because Vox and nifty died around the same time and it doesn't mention that nifty was ever an overlord. Any flashbacks in Mimzy story and we know Alistair only makes deals with people who can get him power or hold over another person so what if he had nifty sign a contract to like protect her from Vox and that's why Alistair and fox had a big falling out was because Vox wanted his wife back. And Alistair was like nah. Also nifty might not remember it because it was a traumatic event. Which made it even more harder on Vox. Also another theory is that the only city that is also another theory is that the only district not claimed in pentagram City is doomsday so I think that's where Vox and Alistair had the big fight.

In the 50’s, there were serial suicide epidemics if housewives using their ovens to off themselves. My dad’s hometown had a few. There were also a lotta dads that “went for milk” apparently and their wives stopped wearing long sleeves and heavy foundation. I have no doubt Nifty snapped. My grandpas own grandma died alone and scared in an asylum for female hysteria. He so up don’t make my grandma do anything. That’s how I know there were living couples. But I have my mom’s parents too that contradict all that.
