I really did not know that this was a thing in Ghana. From the dancing pallbearers to coffins made of penis', cars, and fish!
I have no words.

Ecclesiastes 6:3-4 NIV reads as follows: "A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he. It comes without meaning, it departs in darkness, and in darkness its name is shrouded." Proper burial anyhow, anyway , is important.

The irony is that our people will spend so much money on burials, but will be reluctant to spend money to treat the older person when they are sick!! In West Africa ,only 3% of people are above the age of 65 , so anyone above the age of 65 is seen as elderly and family are very reluctant to pay for treatment , but then will pay for a lavish burial!!
