When Puss and Kitty break into a cabin to retrieve the map that was recently stolen by Goldi, she freaked out and flipped a wooden table which revealed that Puss was hiding under it. This scene is a reference to Puss doing one of his skills called the “spinning wheel”. He spins during the fight with the giant in Del Mar. He spins during the first encounter with Death in a bar. In the pie factory, when Goldi’s bear attacked Puss with a headbutt, he bounced away like a spinning wheel. And finally, he spins during the final fight with Death in the Wishing Star.
