I pretty much main Julie and I find the proximity to feel buggy. I find it hinders my ability to determine exactly where family are coming from. Especially as I tend to use hearing for footsteps etc more and the proximity is kinda noisy. Also for Julie builds if you're looking for suggestions! I take the right side path that way you can get yourself 34 attribute points for versatility. My randoms I go for are empowered, stunt double and no sell. Agitator is a fun option too but I don't have a random I'd want to replace it with. You can run a proficiency Julie (30 toughness, 35 endurance, 44 proficiency and the rest base). I use no sell, efficient locksmith and either bombsquad/slippery/stunt double. You can also run my personal favourite distraction Julie (40 toughness, 34 endurance, 30 strength and the rest base). I use empowered and no sell on all the builds but for the third you have a lot of options. Slippery, bombsquad, fight back, stunt double and choose fight (bugged for close encounters currently but still strong for backstabs). You could even choose overlooked instead of choose fight for more stealth options. Hope this helps anyone looking to spice up Julie gameplay! Love the vids as always Middi!

the reason for this is because Julies "perception" stat is higher than all the other victims. she used to have a unique perk that reads: Your Perception is increased by 2/4/6. but it was scrapped and instead we have the toughness attribute.

Like most are saying this is more of a disadvantage than an advantage. Its disruptive to gameplay and will make you second guess yourself about when it is or isn't a good time to move around. Furthermore, I do believe its ann unintended bug, because nowhere in Julie's bio or the recent victim lore stream does this make sense for her character. For Sonny I could see it, but it still be a hindrance to gameplay. Thank you Middi for the video though, as no one that I know have has put out a video on the Julie proximity situation. Hopefully this will bring more awareness to this and the devs can look into it.

I find so far the most controversal thing theyve done in TCM has been them trying to "encourage" stealthier play by creating the close encounter meta. Before that I always saw people being quiet trying not to draw attention. Ever since that. I always see "Victum Noise has awoken Grandpa" in the first 15 seconds... I hate it especially with Johnny/Bubba Teams be soo damn prevalent.

It just comes with repetition with basements. The more you play on a particular match the more familiar you become with. If you feel pressured as LF navigating and studying the routes, then play victim, you have more time to spend and less pressure.

You need Bubba (always) because he's the only one who can cover the entire map easily and check every objective every 10 seconds And you always need Hitchhiker. He's way more important than The Cook imo. Third one can be anyone; Sissy, Johnny and Nancy The most sweaty match i've had as victim *on family house* was against a pro family trio (party) and it was Hitchhiker, Bubba and Sissy. We lost, they got everyone. Most sweaty on Slaughter House? It was against Hitchhiker, Bubba and Johnny.
