The bad things about generic NPC in Genshin was they have same face syndrome. Dev is too lazy to make more hair, age group, face shape variants for any various names for NPCs.

Genshin loads its objects in from a height, and sometimes if the drop is too great, creatures will die on impact. You can see it in the teapot if it takes a bit for your game to load; if you move or place a piece of furniture outside and then leave the placement menu, the character you're controlling will also seem to drop from a height.

Crabs and lizards spawning mid-air is interesting. Must be a programming quirk; they only spawn once we're close (common in almost every game), but I guess for one reason or another the height isn't defined correctly so they spawn at our level - i.e. in the sky.

the little liyue love triangle is cute… is it weird that i ship NPCs sometimes? even thought i can’t remember a lot of their names, some interactions are very sweet like the two girls on watatsumi island that have a story quest, and the author girl and her friend from tsurumi island in that quest. some NPCs have such nice relationships and stories together, i love how much effort is put into the game even to make the NPCs interesting :)

I have said this before but channels similar to yours Gnik are some of the few youtube channels that I truly enjoy coming back to watch.
