No sir, I was just clarifying that on one specific category of Experimental (E-LSA) you certainly can because you said "So for those that are not familiar with Experimental aircraft, if you did not build the airplane, you are not allowed to do your "Annual" or what's called "Condition Inspection" in the Experimental world." Always good to see some "local" (Texas) footage! The island landing from another video was neat too. Any other spots in your area you think might be worth visiting? I'd like to plan a long weekend and bounce around the hill country camping under the wing sometime before the heat comes back next summer.

There are several places to land and possibly camp. The challenge with Texas, as I am sure you know, is that 99% of Texas is "owned" land. But people cannot technically own lakes and rivers. If you planning to camp, I think one of the safest places would be the islands on Lake Buchanan. Rivers can be tricky, because someone might own the land on each side and then THINK they own the river itself and give you a hard time. We kayaked Devil's River once and had to camp on an island, because there are few spots that are public land. The landowner on each side was not exactly happy. I'm actually working on a Content Pack for ForeFlight to mark a couple of good landing spots in Central Texas.

Fly just from Fredricksburg, Texas a bit North towards Enchanted Rock and the city of Llano. Pick up Sandy Creek and fly the creek towards lake LBJ. There are some great mountains and sheer cliffs plus tight turns. Try it!

It actually came with the plane. Previous owner just hadn’t installed it.

Thanks! And correct it needs to be inspected annually, but not exactly an "Annual Inspection"! Clear as mud right?! haha. Very subtle difference between the two.

When I learned to fly Av Gas 80 Octane was 37 cents a Gallon, and I was flying a real airplane one with a tail wheel. J-3Cub😁🛫 Yes that has been a few years ago.

I guess I have a real airplane! It has a Tailwheel! $0.37/gallon would be nice. Cheapest I remember for was $0.85/ga for Unleaded.
