The new ones go either 80 or 85. They are former freight engines rebuilt for passenger service.

The best way to know is window size. If they are massive, Nippom Sharyo/Amerail. If they are thin, Budd. If they are thin with paint, Pullman. If they have the BNSF logo, then BNSF Budd.

@@Kynxs All Amerails are rebuilt and refurbished, the best way to identify them externally is from the large black rubber gangways, while most Nippons are unrebuilt and therefore have metal ones. Also, from the inside of the doorway to enter the railcar, there should be a plate that says Amerail and Rock Island Rehab program, if it is an Amerail. The plate is found near the doors closing light.
