Jonathan is different from other foreigners. He's black, but he's culturally Korean. So, his mentality and the vibe he gives off, is very Korean. He said on another show that he has a difficult time relating with other foreigners. So, I think Koreans have an easier time connecting with him over other foreigners.

In Kongo, we're biso na biso( between us), there are challenges but not the same than in the US. So, his experience is different. As you said he's able to navigate Korean society well since he was raised there... He looks like a Kongo guy, but he has a Korean vibe, and that's quite obvious.
