This is a hobby. Then there is my pants need taking up, or my zipper broke, or I lost a lot of weight you can take them in. I hate alterations that’s my rant over. I'm glad you figured out it was the bobbin and figured it out before giving up and taking it in for service. I just made the toaster sweater but the fabric I selected wasn't the best, so that one will go to Lily. She can wear it as an oversized sweater with leggings. No resolutions here either. It's rare that I announce that I'm going to make something and then don't stress out about it, so I understand why you don't do the plans videos. Take care and get that dry wall done.

Well, apparently a lot of people thought I would be there, that's why I wanted to clarify. Brenda, I will give you the real deal on the school thing. So, I am trying my best to get into pharmacy school, but it is a little bit of a long shot. I used to love being a jet mechanic and it is fun to bust out at parties at first. But after a while, all that disbelief that I am a jet mechanic starts to wear on the part of me that believes women are capable of anything, it can make me feel bummed out sometimes. Also, the work is hard on the body, especially the back, knees, and shoulders. Its a job to do while you are young and then get out of before you start destroying body parts, ya know? I don't know how much jet fuel and hydraulic fluid my skin has absorbed by now, or how much polyeurathane paint fumes I have inhaled, but it cannot be good for me. So, time to be done with it!

So pleased your Dad shirt turned out so well.. I would be interested in your survival sewing kit you created to keep you sewing, and sane, I reckon, until you actually move.. Will you need a totally different wardrobe where you moving to?? Or will it be a matter of layering up or down? I understand how you feel when committing to make something.. it's like the added stress of having to be right as someone expects/depends on it. But if you make something to give a person yourself, no pressure.. if it turns out how you intended great but if it's not and it's not exactly, you do not have to give it... as no-one knew you were doing it.. I cannot sew for others, I get too nervous and worry I going to ruin their fabric BUT if I decide to make you a sewn gift, I can, no pressure, no timelines.. All the pressures are my own barriers but sadly they exist.. Anyway Happy New Year..

It is really sad for me to not have my stash too, I miss it! I will definitely do a video on what I kept with me, it will help me out to do it as well because I haven't had much time to do a whole lot of sewing. I think that I will have more time once the house is done being patched up. I lived in Arizona for three years so, if I remember correctly it does get cold at night, where you would need a coat in the winter. I remember wearing a lot of cardigans during the daytime in the winter too. So, I think the wardrobe I have is fine, but I will definitely need to beef it up. Here in Maryland I don't really have to leave the house much so most of my stuff is for lounging around and I wear a uniform to work. Now that I will have to put outfits together, I think it will be helpful to just have more clothing of all types in general.
