No doubt sparked by the recent exchange pre-proposal and how the big stakers are against T1 exchanges. Yea, we don't care about the extra requirements to make the big stakers support the proposal. Big concern on whether the team has enough runway with pack sales shrinking every edition and their inability to raise money from VCs. Just sell that SPS and move on to something else so u don't miss out on the bull run.

Been selling over 100k SPS over the past 2 weeks, trying hard to find buyers for my cards and lands but this part might be harder, sadly can't afford to wait on the team not delivering anymore and tired to see my stash going down while every other project get 10x or more, so yeah, It was fun while it lasted but I'm just tired of the splinterland team lack of reaction. List of what should have been delivered back 1 year ago: 1-Land = if delivered in time, more people would have been part of land = more cards on lands, less cards on the market 2-Tower Defense = Tower defense was also supposed to used both SPS staking and card staking = less card on the market yet again more used case for SPS 3-Guild building change hinted as to what it would be possible to stake "Infinite amount of cards on guild buildings" in order to boost something for guild gameplay, again this was an infinite card sink that have been announced to be in place by the end of the year 2023 4-All of the above should have created a huge scarcity on cards overall, making cards super expensive, making DEC price goes up an SPS which both in due time, would make reward bigger for everyone = Splinterland could have become a money printing game again = bringing tons of new players, creating even more scarcity for both cards, SPS and land = All splinterlands asset potentially going up in about 1-3 years What went wrong? All of the above never happen even now as we speak = false promise that never got delivered = of course all previous analysis of the market get screwed by not delivering and bring even more people to leave the game, reducing investors moral and slowly killing the market.

I see a lot of comments about the listing, but its not the only way to make spl rise in value, new player experience is coming and some marketing stuff is coming too.. people leaving? Fine, i fill my bags 😊

There is a increase in card being brought a few are upgrading cards as there is much less cards about especially rebellion legends

The fact that we can’t get a listing because the team had 2 full years to develop the node infrastructure and completely failed to do so, is a massive massive problem. One that is COMPLETELY the fault of the team

IMO the decision to not give out rebellion packs in ranked rewards are actually hurting the game more than anything else. Without those, small players have near to zero incentives to play since if they can't maximize rentals by getting stomped in ranked, they're actually losing money playing the game as it's not chump change to target higher ratings now. Hopefully the team can set an arrangement giving out the packs in modern at least to offset this.

I disagree, I think it’s helping to retain the value for rebellion. I have very few rebellion cards and I’m still able to make my way into diamond.

I think it might just be some people that had sps and don't play anymore that just found an opening to sell now plus people that don't like the changes. It is what it is I think it will be more sell pressure before 0.04!

I'm unstaking a few thousand SPS per week right now, was taking some small profits with the small uptick in SPS value we've had. Never selling the SPS, though, always burning it for DEC and selling that - any SPS coming to my account is never going to leave it again 😀

I love Hive & Hive Ecosystem. SPL Team & Community mean more to me than tokens. The development blows my mind & the unearthing of future opportunities is exciting. Holding my Tokens is more than their NPV or their NFV. They are keys to unknown opportunities. Vonak!

I am unstaking my second account and closing it. I am moving to consolidate to one account. I like the new ranked play changes but does not make sense to have two accounts any more.

i am unstaking and the reason is simple: I will sell. SPS seems to miss the bullrun. Land wasn't the second "airdrop", its rewards are ridiculous (even with low utilization), and the biggest reason: Goldmatters and others made it very clear - the only thing that can save SPL is a listing. But then we learnt a listing is far away bcuz of licenses. Better to invest elsewhere instead of holding dead money. I still like the game but we will see a new all time low while most other games see ATH. O, and it has 0 to do with ranked play. I like it.

I unfollowed goldmatters a while ago. He can't see passed his own biases. If you even ask him a question that's not 100% supportive of his ideas he gets defensive and sarcastic. A listing is not a magic bullet and it would come with many negatives. If you're OK with SPS running to about .08 cents and then crashing through the rest of the bull run, a listing is the way to go.

I think he could not have predicted that the listing requires the licenses and I certainly don't blame him for the SPS drop. But of course many people believe now that only a listing can "save us" and if a listing is far away because of lack of decentralization, this is the result. Web3 gaming is "political" gaming, people will stand up for whatever they think is right, especially if they have strong financial incentives as well. Then people will act according to their beliefs. Here is what I think would have more impact than a listing: 1. Add a 3d component like illuvium 2. move to solana 3. change tokenomics to be adjusted based on number of active players (less SPS distributed when less active players) 4. make land more rewarding, so people actually want it (more than a card dumpster)

@@kristophercharles5306 where did you get your magic ball from? How on earth do you know it will run to 8 and crash. You’re simply guessing just like everyone else. Not listing it wouldn’t even let us run, we’d continue spiralling down into absolute nothingness, just as we have done since conception.

Sps has dropped similar a slightly more than btc once ppl get used to the rewards change and fact we are not bot friendly anymore the game is much more fun this way I playing way more it will recover in a little and get real players and become fair better than btc keepers and dream chasers the next project ,next project sps has proven itself and ready to take off once these bot farms give up stripping us of our moneg

Unfortunately for the game they might be doing the right thing swapping the SPS to some meme or whatever. On the other hand if it dumps back close to 1 penny I might find it the right thing to add more.

One thing that is driving me away is the brawls. My guild was running an average of 2nd place now with the new rules we automatically went to 6th place. We would of been in 2nd place with our the rule set change.
