Watching this trailer made me super emotional. I'm the oldest sibling and have always had to assume responsibility for them since a young age, you could call me the Katara of the group, lol! But my 14 year old brother and I watched this trailer on release and we were literally sobbing, we just held each other crying. We are so excited. My siblings and I watched this together, while growing up and sitting down as mostly adults now (with the exception of the 14 year old), we are excited to finally have a respectful live action done around one of our core foundational experiences as children. The bending looks great, the sets, the costume design, it's all phenomenal. We're still not entirely sold on the casting, we think they look amazing, but we just need to see more content and how they interact with one another over the series to decide on that front, but needless to say, we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of ATLA, the ONLY live action we will choose to acknowledge. Another thing we're worried about is how they'll rearrange/change some storylines to fit this narrative of story telling; animation is waaay less boundary-based for reflecting some story development, so I'm interested in seeing how they reflect those changes.

I haven't watched the trailers or much of the promo material but I am very interested in this show. I loved it when I was kid and it's one of those things I go back and watch yearly because it's just that damn good. I'm hoping for the best with this and I can't wait to see your videos about them!

I am so f'ing happy right now! The only thing I am disappointed with at this moment is one of your comments...I feel like I am always on the same wave-length with you but I don't understand your comment about how this went "last time," nothing else has ever existed other than THE show - I'm just confused there. 🥸 I am glad you put that "PERIOD" after Sokka's statement about what else do we need. My favorite moment from this trailer was our little fam laughing at Momo. For me, nothing is more important to this story than the absolute joy that IS Aang. It's the center of the story. It literally leads everything. Anything that didn't understand that simply didn't exist. I can't wait to watch all of your videos post ATLA!
