"It's difficult to get on his bad side" Ren has said that even now if Kujo would just apologize he'd be willing to go back to negotiations. There's no part 2, they went silent after this. But negotiations stalled too, so the song is still in limbo. Ren's moved on and washed his hands of it, though the remade version will happen at some point, it just got backburnered. Next, maybe - Money Ties was the other "happier" tie-in video Ren referenced at the end of the explanation. While Ren was going through the drama, a producer named nayz reached out to let him know it wasn't the first time Kujo had done this to someone. He had been screwed over, as well. Ren considered having him do the beat for this track but decided the diss was something he needed to do completely solo... so he gave nayz the same deal he'd offered Kujo, a 50/50 split on an entirely new song. Nayz has a lot of really glowing things to say about our Boi on his page including that Ren did enough work on the beat that he should have been credited as a co-producer... and that it was the first time he ever went into a project without having to worry about if he was going to get screwed.

Would like to remind you though, it isn't the "beat" that was the issue...THE BULGARIAN CHOIR SAMPLE that Kujo didn't clear with the creators when he placed it for sale and ultimately sold to Ren. Which is why we see that point expressed with the dead choir on the floor and the looming scary choir being flashed with light. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for getting the background story first! I kinda would have loved to watch you fume for 3-4 hours over it 😂 But at least you got appropriately hyped for the beat down like the rest of us were 🤬 I don’t think I will ever quite understand how it all went from Kujo selling a beat with a stolen sample and the owners getting in touch for the publishing money they’re owed to then somehow escalating into Kujo and his lawyer using a mistake made by others, not Ren himself, to demand money from Ren as if he was the thief. It’s like there’s a huge gap and I suspect it’s between Kujo’s ears 👀 But at least we got this righteous rage! Ren showed us exactly what happens when you push the nicest guy in the industry too far… he needed to let the anger out somehow and boy did he do just that 🔥 Ren made history! Our sick boi was wronged and the hype to see him release his anger was insane. Pretty sure there was like twice the amount of people in chat for the premiere than we’ve seen before and so many reactors heard his call for support ❤️ It’s interesting that the community is so passionate because of how genuinely nice Ren is, yet we all LOVE seeing this side of him 😂

Welcome to Angry Ren… something no one ever wants to see, but when they do… WHEW DAYUM, its vicious. Always recommend watching the 36 minute explanation video that Ren puts out, so I'm glad to see that you did before watching this. As I intend for this breakdown to be about the VIDEO itself and not necessarily the cause of it, please use Ren's explanation video as a way of getting an understanding of the reason a rap battle/beef video was made by Ren before reading this breakdown. This was conceptualised, prepared, produced, filmed, edited, and prepped for release in the span of only two months. Samuel Perry-Falvey filmed, choreographed, and lit the video itself, with Ren directing. It was entirely done by Ren otherwise. The choir represents the Hungarian choir whose sample was illegally used by KujoBeats to create the beat that Ren purchased FROM him. 'Kujo' is played by Kai, the same guy who plays the Bassist in Back on 74 and often is part of the filming and production crew for most of Ren's videos. 'Kujo's girlfriend' is not known to me so I hope the RENegades can help fill in who that is playing her. Until I know, this entry will remain 'blank'. The introduction is an echo of 'Hi Ren' to represent Ren's inner turmoil over the entire situation. As mentioned in my breakdown of Hi Ren for you, here is an explanation of the pig: The 'Pig' from the beginning is an essential symbol in the RENiverse and appears in many, if not most, of his other music videos and media. It represents the corrupted and abused systems of the world that take and take and take and never give back to the people they are supposed to support: medicine, music, finances, trade, commerce, government, etc… The double tap on 'Kujo's' head at the end of the track is stating very loudly: "DOUBLE TAP motherfucker, mess with me again and I'm gonna kill you." Turning off the lights at the end is to represent a couple of things: one, the matter is settled. Two, your careers are over. No one will trust you anymore and you're gonna need a new career. As KZbin has forced the 'ending credits' usual to a YT video at the end of this one, I will repeat Ren's important message here: "The views expressed in this video are for creative purposes. Any issues I have will be dealt with on a personal basis. I do not condone abuse or bullying." Ren made sure to let us all know: do not go after Kujo or his girlfriend. He will deal with them. Make fun of them if you want to, but do not go after them directly. Do not harass them, do not berate them, do not start shit with them. He will deal with them. Best lines are definitely: "But the killing you're committing is career suicide"; "I'm the subject matter, you're a part of the scenery!" The beat and composition are arranged to be simultaneously coinciding with the lyrics, thus giving them more meaning, and the classical components of that composition really add to the depth of it all. He mentions a few of his songs throughout the lyrics, though I prefer to keep that something you discover for yourself. This video gives you a much deeper appreciation for all his hard work and creativity and personal stakes in Sick Boi, so if you have not witnessed it yet, now is the time. As of right now, since this video was released, Kujo has not made any public notices about the situation and as far as we can tell, because Ren has been largely quiet about it, the situation has resolved itself. His legal team is working with Kujo and likely has ended all problems. Anything else I should add to this, please let me know RENegades. Much peace and love to you!

He did say he needed to 'get it out somehow' and he definitely got it out somehow The part of this whole fucked up situation that makes me the angriest is that I wholeheartedly believe the stress from this played a role in Rens health relapse after he had spent so much time in treatment in Canada. Also completely off topic tomorrow (Wednesday) Rens going to be filming a new live set of most of the Sick Boi album.

There was no part 2 but because of Kujo beat down another artist/producer got hold of Ren to say he had the same problem with Kujo and they did a collaboration on Money Ties, as another 2 fingers to Kujo and greedy people.
