Idea used in the renaissance early music instrument called the rackett. Air column folded up upon itself many times.

Well you were definitely having the most fun with the third one, so I gotta go with that. All in all, though, they kind of remind me of harmonicas, but that could be thanks to how you use your fingers to manipulate the airflow and sound.

I've just ordered one like the first shown here, but would really like to know how you go about cleaning it? I have horrible visions of mold growing somewhere inside it...
@DidgeridooBreathAustralia3 ай бұрын
Best keep it in the dry place if you are living in moist climate. Clove oil also works for the Mold!

@DidgeridooBreathAustralia You think that will be enough? Thanks for the tip about clove oil, any advice on how to get it distributed throughout the channels?
@DidgeridooBreathAustralia3 ай бұрын
@@tonyhedgewolf It's tricky, but dilute with water a bit of Clove oil then run it through? You can try some oil with beads or sands inside and shake it off?? Thinking just top of my head how to clean...

I play tuba but I really want a didgeridoo. Are they hard to learn?
@DidgeridooBreathAustralia3 жыл бұрын
Well, like all instruments they need a little bit of practice specially with the circular breathing, if you don't already use it with the tuba, but everyone can learn.
