brother i am Australian and if i can play both didgeridoo and djembe you can too ;). a functional didg can be made out of a few lengths of pipe and some wax. it might not sound like those in this video but it will get you close.

Red shirt is technically un-faultable < (thats is not a word) He had many techniques and executed them all without error...! For me it just sounds like beatboxing through a didgeridoo. Atleast in my opinion this is not the strength of a didgeridoo. Its like as if i would beatbox through a flute, which some people do, but it doesnt demonstrate the full capability of a flute, since it is not designed for beatboxing and therefor it sounds weird to me. But eventually when this developes more over the time, maybe it will show some potential combined with beatbox.

beatboxers have a natural affinity with the didge, but they have to be careful not to use it purely as something to beatbox through. still great … but the didge itself has to be the prime character of the instrument to make the most of it.

Yuck! Who would want sloppy seconds on a didgeridoo? And, I thought the whole idea was to make harmonic overtones. Beatbox might be a cool addition to the sound, but you are missing out on the depth of the instrument without the overtone interplay.
