If you want to do anything for cheap then Mafushi or any other local island is the place to be. For 50-100 USD you can have an entire day at sea with snorkeling with Manta Rays and White tip sharks. Also lunch at a deserted island included. Similarly 2 scuba dives for 75-100 usd per person. For snorkeling you don't need any swimming experience. You can dive with life jackets and float on the surface of the water. It's quite easy.

You can take Naishu with you for couple dive. They will not make you dive together at the same time but will take all 3 of you together on the same boat. Then one can dive and other can take dive of Naishu and then once one has completed the dive he/she can come out and take care of Naishu while the other person can dive.

When I went to Maldives I bought my own Snorkeling kit and from water villa we can see lots of fishes. You dont need to pay anything extra, but ya you need to know a bit swimming to enjoy better or use life jacket.

Guys, trust me I am speaking open heartfelt, Maldives 🇲🇻 is the worst place for any vacation especially for Indians, there’s nothing except that clear blue waters and white sand beaches, which can be experienced even better in our Indian islands(Andamans and Lakshadweep) , same type of corals or even better one in (Andamans and Lakshadweep), we Indians are just blindly following the Instagram posts and opting for Maldives, we visited Maldives 2 months ago and trust me the weather was so harsh that we were even unable to come out of our room and only in the evening times, after 5 PM , weather starts getting better. I feel for such a weather condition and those type of villas, that price and hype is definitely not worth of visiting it.

If anyone else wants white sand beaches, blue waters at a budget, please visit havelock Island in Andaman. Water activities like scuba are also cheaper if booked in advance.
