My other dog played along and he became intrigued - now its a daily part of our routine - about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. When my neighbour used to go out I could hear Bruce (his staff bull) run up the stairs then the sound of a ball bouncing down the stairs and him following it scrambling down the stairs; then hear him running back up ball bouncing and off he'd go again down the stairs and back!!! That's heartwarming to watch. There are a few short moments where the little boy feels uneasy, but he doesn't back off or try to run, which means he trusts you enough that he doesn't expect anything threatening. Funny are the moments where it looks to me like he thinks: "What's he up to now again?" Besides that he communicates a lot that he's happy & loves you. I wish every dog would live such a live. Where I live it's forbidden per law to leave a dog alone every day for work or study, which I find a quite good law but you also never know what Life brings. The most imported part is that you do your best to keep your dog healthy & happy. And I think you're doing that. Hope you guys are still well. Wish you the best.

It’s adorable how he can keep himself occupied, but I think it’s better for a dog to have a companion. They are pack animals & usually not very happy all alone. There are a few breeds that do well alone, and I’m not sure if Corgis are one of them. When I say companion I mean it could be another dog, cat, person, even other animals. One thing is for sure your Corgi is absolutely adorable! So smart and beautiful eyes.
