Die Cast Vs Flanged Hoops

I swapped my flanged for a my Tama diecast on this snare, and i love it. I found it has much more pop to it.

all my TAMA drums are with die cast , i prefer the look too !

I play Tempus carbon fibre drums, and I only use die cast on my snare reso and triple flange on the batter.

Normally it's the other way around. I might try this to see how I like it

@@boarheadblast it came with diecast top & bottom and I didn’t like the sound or feel w all diecast - and triple flange is doing it. Thx

Gretsch...only die-cast. 😎 🥁
