Weil er sich für verfolgte Juden engagiert, wird Erzbischof Ralph (Richard Chamberlain) im zweiten Weltkrieg nach Australien versetzt. Dort trifft er zufällig seine Jugendliebe Meggie ( Amanda Donohoe) wieder… dieser Nachverfilmung schließt die Lücke zwischen dritten und vierten Teil.
Archbishop Ralph (Richard Chamberlain) was transferred to Australia during World War II because he stood up for persecuted Jews. There he happened to meet his child's sweetheart Meggie (Amanda Donohoe) ... this adaptation closes the gap between the third and fourth part.
