I think he knew there was a grav, he probably thought he could kill the genji and reset before the sound barrier went off, but he couldn't get the reset so he was just stuck there having to swing at the genji.

minwu I think he was referring to characters that were going to be hard counters to him, the Ana and the mccree. He can outrange tracer and soldier (although 76 is hard to outrange, it's possible for someone as good as he is)

Why did he focus the Genji at the end of the first round with his nanoblade? He had just switched so he could not have his blade yet. Meanwhile 2 teammates died, the other team wiped them out and won the round. That was close.
